*Recap*

I look to my side to see the Bakery come into my view. I walk in the direction of the Bakery. As soon as I reach the Bakery entrance, I hear yelling coming from inside. It's a female's voice.

I open the door and enter the Bakery. "Peeta?" I quietly called for him. As I walked closer towards the register, the yelling got louder. The yelling is coming from the kitchen.

I walked behind the counter and started making my way towards the kitchen doors. I opened the kitchen doors and my heart stopped. "No!" I cried out. It was already too late. Tears began streaming down my cheeks.

I had just witnessed Peeta, the boy I love, get hit by a rolling pin by woman I don't even recognize.

"Peeta!" I cried out. The woman turned in my direction. Her eyes were dark and full hate. It was scary.

She slowly walked towards my direction. "You filthy whore," She seethed,"You've brainwashed the stupid boy I call my son! Your no worthy of any boy. Especially with that." She pointed towards Peeta on the last sentence.

She rolled the rolling pin on her hand, she looked angry and hateful. "Leave my house this instance!"

"Not without Peeta!" I snapped at her. "Katniss leave!" I heard Peeta's weak voice order me. Just before I could respond, I feel a sharp, piercing pain on the side my temple.

I yelped in pain. I felt extremely dizzy and nauseous. It's now I realized that Peeta's mother had hit me with the rolling pin.

I fell to the floor, taking deep breaths, trying to forget about the pain but, it didn't work. My head was throbbing and I couldn't shake the nauseous feeling away.

I heard footsteps walk past me and out the kitchen. I slowly turn my head to where Peeta was laying.

He was shaking uncontrollably, as if he were really cold, but it wasn't cold. He just was hurt.

Seriously hurt.

I try getting up from the floor but I couldn't. I was still way too dizzy. "Peepta." I couldn't even say his name right.

"Katniss? Peeta?" That voice sounded familar. "Oh God," The voice said again. I felt two strong arms pick me up. "DAD!"

"Get Peeta. He's laying on the kitchen floor," The voice ordered. "Katniss? Can you hear me?"

I definitely could hear him but I couldn't quite see him. My vision was very blurry. I nodded so he knew I was listening.

I felt myself being layed on soft, comfy cushions. "Great. Just lay here. I'm going get you some ice." I simply nodded.

I just layed there, rubbing the part of my temple that hurt the most. I hear footsteps coming from behind where I was laying.

"Here." I felt an ice cold bag being layed on my head. It stung but it felt great.

I look at the person hovering over me. My vision begins to come back to its senses, revealing Jay, Peeta's charming older brother.

"How do you feel?" Jay questioned. I could tell how truly concerned he was. He had this look that he gave me and his voice was just oozing with it.
