TWENTY-SIX
_____

Right after the end of the horror booth, Zumi and Suna were rewarded a bag of candy which contained peanut butter chocolates, lollipops, a few marshmallows, and jelly fruit sticks, much to Suna's excitement. Though now, they were just sat under a large colorful umbrella which was attached to a round table located outside while waiting for the Sun to set.

There had been an announcement that there would be fireworks display by the end of the school festival, which Zumi was looking forward to. They had also already gone to different booths and had also gotten a picture taken together at the costume booth in her classroom, which Suna was currently looking at, at the very moment.

His eyes scanned the glossy photo paper in his hands which contained six pictures printed on it; two of the pictures on top were just them doing a peace signs with him having a serious expression, while Zumi had a small smile; the next two right below it had them wearing sunglasses with each of them sporting a stoic look; though the last two were his personal favorite – which had a picture of him placing his arms around her shoulder with a minuscule grin and placing the side of his head by Zumi's, whose eyes were wide in surprise.

"Hey, can I see that too?" Zumi asked, leaning closer to inspect the photo that he's been religiously looking at for the past five minutes. He holds the paper out wordlessly to her as she accepts it and observes the cute pictures.

She then asked, "Can we cut it in half? I want to put it in my phone case."

He nods in response. She grabs her small bag that was placed on the table then pulls out her pencil case, before grabbing the scissors. She begins to cut the glossy paper in half then presents it in front of Suna right after.
"Which one do you want to keep?" She asks.

He squints his eyes and lean closer to find which one to choose, before pointing at the picture she held on her right hand, "I want that one."

They stay silent once again as Zumi carefully places the picture inside her clear phone case before placing her phone in once again. She flips it around and looks at the picture that was seen through her case, giving a small smile.

"Hey, uh- do you want to watch the fireworks display with me?" Suna asks, clasping his hands together nervously under the table as he looks at her lift her head up to face him.

She tilts her head in confusion, "Aren't you going to watch it with your volleyball team?" She looks at him once again though his expression turns a little disappointed. She quickly raises her hands up and began waving it frantically in front of her, "Not that I don't want to watch it with you. It's just... what if your team gets mad at me since you've been hanging out with me the whole day?"

His frown disappears then lets out a small chuckle; So that's what she's been worrying about. He shook his head lightly in disagreement, "No, they won't. Don't worry."

"Well, okay then. Sure, I'll watch it with you."

The grass grounds that lay out and scattered over the dry ground, holding no patterns that served as a place where students stood over. Some sat down on the ground, oblivious to the little insects that crawled over it or maybe didn't show any cares towards the fact. Darkness is what was supposed to be surrounding everyone except the lamp posts were turned on dimly, allowing each person to slightly see the faces of others that hung near them.
