New Resolve

Panacea, an A class  liquid type artifact.  A healing artifact capable of curing all disease. Hidden in the 40th floor, it was said to be a miraculous artifact, capable of healing even the most lethal and incurable disease. It has never been reported or sighted, with the dungeon raiders relying on old folklores as its only proof of authenticity. Even the great emperor of the western kingdom had set an entire platoon of trained soldiers and hundreds of hired raiders in search of it. Even until now, it was shrouded in mystery.

It was actually one of the trickiest dungeon artifact, and only Michael and his party were able to decipher it after various attempts. Of course, Julius firmly believe that Michael's victory solely rely on his protagonist luck. It must be said that all protagonist had heaven defying luck, one that is capable of overturning the world. Now that Julius had set his sight on it, he'll be relying on his borrowed knowledge from the book, which is more reliable and accurate. Certainly, they could obtain panacea even without that prick's help.

After a long and burdensome explaination, Julius had somehow convince Julian, who was still pessimistic about his plan. Not that he blames him, Julius had a long history of being the most unreliable and untrustworthy person.

"I guess this master's help is needed", Ruiz, who was shamelessly eavesdropping, had decided to insert himself on the brothers' conversation. He had been listening on Julius plan. Though Julian remains negative about it, Ruiz feel that the elder Achinuss had a point. The plan was fessible. Its not like they are trying to conquer the dungeon, as long as they follow the cleric's idea, obtaining the cure for the househead wouldn't be that hard.

"No",frowning, Julian resolutely rejected. He cannot permit Ruiz to come along, not in this condition. "Well I wasn't really asking you, but your  elder brother",Ruiz raises a brow, pretending not to see his friend's obvious refusal. "No, I know you are perfectly aware why you can not go, Ruiz" Julian rarely raises his voice, yet now his tone was several higher than the usual calm house head. "I'm going",Ruiz smiles, disregarding the scowling face of his dear friend. "What are you"........Julian was frustrated. He was well aware of how stubborn the young man is, but this kind of recklessness was the thing Julian  dislike the most. Ruiz was too impulsive.

The young knight drags Ruiz, bowing politely toward his brother. "Do you even know what you are saying? Do you really have a deathwish?",Julian was harsher this time. This kind of reckless behaviour should be stop. "I don't and I will live. Don't try to control me, Julian", Ruiz answered with a righteous look, even if it was the house head refusing him, he simply had to go. He had to. Afterall, this might be the only chance he'd ever have to repay his mentor's kindness. "Are you insane? Have you forgotten? The moment you enter a dungeon, your curse will instantly corrupt you! Stop this insanity!",Julian was desperate. At any rate, there's no way he will ever let Ruiz step a foot inside a dungeon."That curse again? I told you Julian, no matter how many curses those damn vermins cast on me, it will not stop me from erasing their kind from this world",gritting his teeth, Ruiz was determine. No matter how long it will take, he will definitely slaughter those monsters, not until he drops and die as well.

Tsk....

Ruiz was already far deep in his hatred, there is no changing his mind. At this point, he was already a budding storm, he might cause unspeakable disaster if he fail.
Julian still wanted to prevent his friend from doing something stupid, however, Ruiz already made his decision.

Julian came back, with the look so grim even Julius cannot approach him. Sighing, the cleric could guess the two had an arguement, though he doesn't really need nor wanted to intervene. His job was to lead them towards the healing artifact, any internal fighting is not something he wished to meddle with.

After an evening of enduring the cold war between the two men, Julius promptly excuse himself, he still needed to inform the two girls about his possible "vacation". Upon seeing him, the girls already jump to hug him. His patient, wordlessly watch them before leaving.

That night, Julius now sincerely believe that these little girls were not the biological children of Harold. How could these adorable and obedient girls be the offspring of that oaf? Truly genetic is a mysterious thing. Liira, though obviously discontented that Julius is not bringing them, silently pouted in the corner. Miira still smiled amiably, but the amount of scratching and slight dents on their bedroom showed her disagreement. Julius patted the twins in the head. He knew these two was going to act up, but he cannot really bring the two with him. The whole raid will consist of the Achinuss' gathering of holy knights, those folks are not really fond of hired raiders. Not to mention that this raid would be far more dangerous than the previous one, he cannot risk harming the children. Sighing, Julius could only comfort them. The two still obeyed him, promising to watch over the house and train.

"Are you going back inside the tower?", Julius was really surprised, it was the first time his dear patient decided to initiate a talk between them. Mostly he'd just silently sit in a corner and grow mushroom while self deprecating. "Yes. Tomorrow we will set at dawn",Not minding it, Julius answered him. The man did not ask anything afterwards, although he did look like he wanted to continue asking. Julius did not heed him anymore thoughts, he was still busy formulating a possible strategy to get the panacea with least casualties.

"Which tower is it?",after much thought, the man finally asked. "Silica", Julius was calm. It was as though he was just talking about a normal place. The man's eyelid twitch, he doesn't know if the priest is joking or not. As a veteran raider,  Michael knew which tower the cleric was going into. Silica, was a tower named after the town it had destroyed the moment of its appearance. It was a strange tower, it was shorter than most towers, but it was five times larger than the normal one. 10 years had already pass since its first appearance, yet no one had ever cleared it. Though uncleared towers were not a rarity, but Silica was a notorious one. No challengers had ever come out of the tower after entering it. With that, it became infamous for being the most mysterious tower to have ever existed.

Michael cannot guess what Julius could possibly be thinking. Raiding is not some kind of a fun adventure, it was extremely dangerous. Seeing how the cleric was devoid of any anxiety, Michael became certain, this man did not know where or what he is doing. Frowning, Michael left the room, pondering over certain matters.
