Why is Apollo here? He was supposed to appear on the middle part of the book!!! While Julius' is suffering from mental anguish, the old woman slip an old rusty key on his hand. Afterwards, she looked at him from head to toe, and snorted. The urge to start a fight was immense, however, it would be a futile battle. There is no need to die in vain. Anyway, that siscon will not harm him, as long as Artemis is still in sight.
Julius begrudgingly frown, his image of the cool Apollo was unfortunately ruined. As expected, only his goddess is the sanest amongst the Olympus deities. " I suggest you make haste, mortal. You're people are dying outside", Artemis reminded him. "Just follow the foggy path, you'll be back where you entered", following her advice, the priest immediately left the vicinity, treading the foggy path. Without the light, the path seems long, full of uncertainty. He cannot see anything, blindly walking forward.
"You may see things clearly now. But first, please be safe........and thank you"
From afar, a voice echoed. It was the priestess voice. Not the mocking girl's voice, but the solemn and shrieking priestess who seek his help. At this point, Julius wasn't sure what to think anymore.

"Wake up now. Otherwise I might be tempted to do something else"
A devilish voice whispered in his ear, immediately waking up the unconscious man. A man with dark hair and a sneaky smile look close to him, with only an inch separating them. Jet black eyes stare back at him, as if searching his soul.
"F*ckajbahauagsbah"
Jolting and scrambling in schocked, Julius stared at the man before him. It was that knight he met before. "Hahaha.......hmmmm.....ah....as expected. That's the reaction I am looking for", the knight laughs in amusement, eyes gleaming with glee.
"You, who are you?" Where am I anyway? This place is too dark
Julius huffed, eyes observing his surrounding. This is not the temple. Where am I? Damn. Where is Jade anyway. Confused, he frowned at the knight before him. Surely, this guy is not a member of his entourage. Julius made sure to remember every people who joined the raid. To avoid sabotage from outsiders. And this guy before him, might also be one.
"I am not an outsider though. My lord had sent us here to raid the upper floors, and my group had just met yours. It seems that some mishap befalls upon them, so we pinch in to help", as if reading his mind, the knight look back at him, pasting a polite yet eerie smile.
Damn it. I don't know if this guy is telling the truth. But my group might need some help. My plan wasn't perfect to begin with, there is no way they can withstand those mob of monster for a long time. I hope Jade is alright. Julius was lost in his thoughts. Anyhow, since he managed to finished the trial, the mobs must be cleared out by now.
"You're name is Mao right? Can you guide me back to my group? They need me right now", sighing, the priest tried to stand up, ignoring the shaking of his legs. It seems that meeting a divine being had taken a toll on his body. Well, he is still thankful that this is the only backlash he got. Others who met deities had died on the spot. Luckily, he was in some sort of astral form. Meeting both of the twin deities was not part of his expectation at all.
"Hmmm...... I'm afraid I cannot do that. You see, its exactly the reason why I separated you from them", Mao approached him, his formerly squinting eyes is in full display. The black eyes was replaced with a red one. "Ah, this is not good. It's hard to maintain this form when I am excited"
" How about we chat first, Julius?", the knight smiled, but the only thing he is feeling right now is a sense of dread. There was a strange instinctual repulsion. Like seeing a natural enemy.
"I see. So someone did came to sabotage my raid. I did expect that. However, I did not expect some demon to join the fray", Julius backs away, drawing a wall to separate them . Arghh...... I am still weak from Apollo's direct contact. I'll buy some time for now.
"F*ck off!!!!"
Screaming, Julius aimed at the knight, hitting him with the strongest holy skill he have. Light burst out, engulfing the whole area.
Cough.......
Ah....sh*t....... Blood pools from his mouth, tainting his pure white clothes. Shaking, he drag his body to stabilize his breathing. Not good. I won't be able to walk properly at this point. After releasing his skill, Julius can finally see where he is. An old temple, covered in slimy vegetation. If its this place, he must be near the temple. This place must be the praying hall. That broken statue must've been Apollo's, the one he had seen from the trial.
"I thought you'd be too weak to do anything. My bad. Seems like your rank in the church wasn't a decoration at all". Frowning, Julius refused to look back. Argh.....why are you still alive? "It seems like you've been underestimating me",huffing, the priest glared at the man.
"My bad. My previous assessment is definitely wrong", grinning, Mao apologize, acting like someone who was really guilty. " If you really feel bad, then leave me alone."
The man tilted his head, his eyes zooming to the kneeling priest. "I can't do that." Eerie footsteps echoed throughout the silent praying hall.
*Thump....thump.....
" My apologies. I can't let you go now" even though his tone was low, almost whispering. Julius can hear everything clearly. Crouching down, Mao inch closer to him. The eyes staring at him was searing, making him unable to look away.
"Not when you're making me feel so delighted"
