Jay laughs as he held onto Matt's hand while they rode a amusement park ride since there had been a carnival in town and had went with the misfits. He smiles while holding onto his boyfriend's hand, feeling his grip tighten when the ride went faster as he glanced over at matt who looked a bit terrified but was enjoying the ride. He got off once the ride had ended as he didnt let go of Matt's hand, going back over to his group of friends at the concession booth, getting food and drinks since they hadnt ate since lunch time as it was near dinner time.
Mason held onto his drink that he had gotten along with his pretzel, seeing matt and jay holding hands which made him a bit sad since he had liked Jay alot but never got to tell him since he was always busy with things and spending time with matt. He took a sip from his lemonade that he had as he followed behind the misfits who were walking over to what looked like bumper cars which made him excited as he puts his stuff down and ran over to the line, hearing fitz laugh behind him. He smiles as he waited in line and looked at fitz who had walked over with Swagger
a few hours go by
Mason walks into the misfits house as he was sweaty from the summer air outside since it was still a bit humid even though it was nighttime, he watched the others go to there room except for Tobi who had went to the kitchen as he follows her. He sighs while putting his stuff down on the counter and got a concerted look from Tobi as she had grabbed something from the fridge
Tobi held onto her water that she had as she was fixing to go live stream for a while, she went over to Mason and puts a hand on his shoulder "Hey maso..what's wrong?" she said, concern in her voice
Mason sighs as he hides his face in his hands and shook his head as Jay popped into his head again, his smile, laugh, his excitement over the things. He smiled but snapped back to reality when he felt Tobi shake him "I like someone..but hes happy."
Tobi raised an eyebrow when she heard what Mason had said and pulls herself up onto the counter as she was now sitting on it, confused on who this mysterious man was "Who is it Maso?"
Mason felt his body freeze as he shook his head again "Dont worry about it tobs..I'm pretty sure he wouldn't like me back anyway. I'm not his type."
Tobi sighs as she uncovers masons face and held onto his wrists "Its jay..isnt it?" she watched Mason nod as she let go of his wrists
"Dont bring yourself down..okay? its gonna be alright. I'm sure he likes you too."
"What if he doesnt? I'm just gonna have to deal with the heartbreak again." Mason teared up as the tears fell down his cheeks, feeling Tobi hug him. He wiped away his tears as he hugged tobi tightly
Tobi held onto Mason as she didnt let him go til he felt better when she heard Jay come downstairs alone. She looked over at Jay when a concerned expression was on his face as she held onto a upset Mason "He got rejected."
Jay nods as he walks over to them and hugged Mason too as it was now a group hug "Its gonna be alright mason..were here for you..I'm sorry that happened to you."
Mason tears up again when he smelt Jay's cologne, he loved that smell. He sniffles as he wipes his eyes when the hug broke apart and smiles a little bit "Thank you guys.." He walked back to his room and locked himself in there, sliding down his bedroom door and broke down crying as he thought about Jay and all of the memories he had that they had spent together. The back of the budget truck, Christmas and many more memories that made him fall for Jay even more but it still broke his heart when the memory of Jay had announced that he was dating Matt on one of the podcasts, he tried to bury that memory in his mind so he wouldn't think about but it had resurfaced which made him cry more. He didnt wanna ruin Jay and Matt's relationship since they were so happy together, so he had to deal with it for now which hurt him alot.
The next day
Mason opens his eyes to the sun peeking through his curtains as he had slept in a weird position and noticed he fell asleep on the floor. He groans as he stood up and yawns, leaving his room when he went to the kitchen to grab something that would wake him up. He grabbed a cup and put some coffee in it when he felt someone watching him as he looked around and didnt see anyone watching him which made him uncomfortable as he makes his cup of coffee and went back to his room, feeling watched him as he walked back into his room and sat down at his desk. the watching feeling going away which confused him even more
Jay was sitting in the living room watching something on the tv by himself as he wasnt his normal happy and hyper self that morning which was a bit unusual for him since he was normally hyper and talking about things for his new videos but today was different. He was having a rough start to his morning as he had gotten into a fight with Matt over something stupid but didn't tell anyone about it since it was a quiet one, he sighs as he knew they were on the verge of breaking up after a year of dating. He felt tears from in his eyes when he looked down at the ground, thoughts filling his mind.
a few hours go by
"Fine! Were done. Leave my room now!" Jay said as he broke down crying while looking at his now ex boyfriend matt who had been fighting with him all morning, he watched matt leave and close the door behind him as he sat down on his bed crying when he felt arms wrap around him and hugged Mason tightly knowing it was him. He cried into Masons chest, feeling his heart break into a million pieces and didnt let him go as Mason comforted him.
a few months go by
Mason smiles as he was sitting by the lake with Jay and it was getting towards the end of summer as he glanced over at Jay and wrapped an arm around him, kissing his forehead lightly "I love you so much baby.."
Jay blushes as he leans against Mason and kisses his cheek "I love you so much too Maso.." He looks at him as he smiles when their eyes met, knowing everything was alright now. He went back to watching the sunset as he held onto Mason gently
