[This is before jay moved in with the misfits]
It was a cool evening in Auckland, New Zealand as Jay had just woken up from a nap and was standing in his kitchen making him something to drink while listening to music on his tv when he heard a big boom outside and felt his house go silent which meant the power had went out. He listened to the quiet for a bit before it made him nervous since he didnt like the quiet that often and had always liked something playing in the background, he picked up his phone which was sitting on the kitchen counter as he noticed that it was 50% "shit..gotta make it last." he said as he sighs and went to his closet nearby, grabbing a flashlight from the top shelf as he turns it on when he noticed that it was getting dark outside.
a few hours go by
Jay was sitting in his living room and had texted mason, seeing if he was awake and if he could call him so he wouldnt feel alone for the night, he hummed softly along to the song that was in his head and smiles as he began to think about Mason and how he wanted to see him again since he had missed him alot and hadnt seen him in months. He looked over at his phone when he heard it ding and saw that Mason had said it was okay for him to call as he immediately called him and smiles when he answered "Hey maso"
Mason takes a sip from his drink and smiled when he heard Jay "Hey jay..have they turned your power back on yet?"
Jay shook his head as he sighs "Nope..it wont be turned on til tomorrow which sucks. I had so much planned today and it got ruined.." he frowned
Mason leans back in his seat since he was in his recording room and felt his face heat up since his feelings for Jay had come rushing back since he had pushed them away a while ago "Its gonna be alright mate..besides you wont be living there much longer. Ryan's got us a house in Melbourne for all the misfits, except for fitz but I think he'll just share a room with Swags. We all know they're flirting..its obvious."
Jay laughs slightly as he nods and felt his face heat up "That sounds wonderful. Everyone under one roof, that's gonna be so chaotic but fun. I finally get to see you and everyone again."
5:23 am
Jay felt his phone vibrate as he looked at it and had been talking to Mason for hours now as he frowned when he saw it was a low battery warning that his phone was at 3% now and was gonna tell Mason but his phone had shut off before he could
Mason got confused when he heard Jay hang up and tried to call him back but got the voicemail tone as he sighs "Damnit Jay..learn how to charge your phone."
a few weeks go by
Jay had arrived at the misfits new house as he had gotten picked up at the airport by Matt on his motorcycle which made him a bit nervous but had pushed it away as he walked into the house and looked at the others with a happy look on his face "Hey guys!"
Mason had heard Jay as he immediately got off the couch and ran over to him, hugging him tightly "Jayy! I've missed you so much!"
Tobi raised an eyebrow as she looked at the two boys and chuckles, whispering something to fitz since he was next to her and heard him laugh
Jay felt his face heat up and had hugged Mason back as he laughs "Its been so long since I last saw you!"
Swagger walked into the house as he had come from the backyard and saw Jay "You're finally here Jay!" he said as he walked over to Jay and Mason, group hugging them
Mason chuckles as he pulls away from the hug and looked at Jay "We've all go the rooms sorted. Swags got the master bedroom and you've got the bedroom two doors down from him."
Jay nodded as he held onto his suitcase and was led upstairs by Mason to his room as he walked into the bedroom, looking around. He noticed that there was already a bed in there since ryan had bought beds for everyone, he put his suitcase down on the bed as he sat next to it and looks at Mason "I really missed everyone..it was lonely in New Zealand."
Mason sat down next to Jay as he chuckles "Its gonna be insane here..but its gonna be fun. I already know it." he looked at Jay as his face heated up when he was kissed by Jay and kisses him back, smiling. He quickly pulled away when Tobi had busted into the room
Tobis eyes widen as she had saw what had happened and chuckles "I knew it. I wont tell anyone..okay? dont worry." she giggled
