The only thing I know about Riko is her talent as the Ultimate Observationalist. She doesn't talk much, which makes me think she's not that social. I probably watch too many movies, but I'm worried that might lead her to do something horrible or for her to be a...

Anyways, I spotted her in one of the hallways, looking outside the glass. I had the I-Spy book in my hands, hoping she would like this during her free time. I walk up to her and greet with, "Hey Riko!"

"Hey Haru," she greeted back, not looking back at me once as her eyes were glued outside.

"Huh, how'd you know it was me?" I asked.

"I can see your reflection in the glass."

"Oh...ok," I replied, didn't even think about my reflection. "So...what are you doing out here?" I asked.

"Watching some fish pass by the dome," she said, still not looking in my direction.

"Really? I don't see anything..."

"That's because of how dark it is down here, as well as the fish swimming about 150 meters away from us," she said with no delay.

"Then how can you see them?"

"I watch the faded shapes pass by."

"I see..." I said, rather impressed by her eyesight.

Suddenly her attention was placed on the book, turning towards me. I remembered why I wanted to find her in the first place and handed it to her. "Here, I hope you'll enjoy spending time on this," I said to her with a smile.

"A college edition of I-Spy...I have plenty of these in my home, but know I appreciate this and will hold onto it until we escape," she said.

I gave a smile as I felt she liked it...at least I think she likes it as my smile slowly faded away as I notice how she gave me her usual blank and emotionless stare in return...

"..."

Words can't describe how weird this silence is right now..."So Riko...anything you'd like to do for fun?" I asked.

"Not really," she unemotionally replied.

"For real? Nothing?"

"Yep."

"..."

'Holy shit this is awkward...' I thought to myself...but before I could say anything else, she walked away, leaving me more speechless...
