~Chapter Three~

Tommy
Tommy woke up as some birds flew by his window. He jumped out of bed and quickly got dressed and ran out of his room. He went to his brother Techno’s room and told him that he would be going into town.

Tommy loved going into town and seeing all the shops and people. As he got into town he walked down the street. He didn’t know what to do today. A little further down the street, he saw something. It seemed small. He walked a little faster, curious to see what it was.

As he got closer, he could now see that it wasn't a thing, it was a person. They were about Tommy’s age. “Hello!” said the boy. “Hello! I’m Tommy, what's your name?” he asked the boy on the street. “I’m Tubbo!” the boy responded. Tubbo had dirt on his face and his clothes. “Tubbo come on.” Tommy gestured for him to come with him as he started to walk back to his house.

As Tommy got closer, he saw some of his friends at his house. They were probably looking for him. “Tubbo stay here. I gotta go deal with these people,” he said as Tubbo smiled and nodded. “Hey Tommy! Come on!” one of the kids yelled at him. “Not today, I’m, uhhh, busy. Yeah I’m busy today!” he told them. He was terrible at lying. Before they could say anything back, Tommy’s brother, Wilbur, was yelling for him to come have breakfast.

He ran inside and sat down. He didn’t want to leave Tubbo alone for too long so he ate the blueberry pancakes their father made them as fast as he could. He decided to bring some for Tubbo. He didn’t know if he had breakfast or not, plus they were really good pancakes.

As he got back outside, he saw Tubbo, right where he had told him to stay. “Here you go! My dad made pancakes this morning and they’re really good!” He gave the two pancakes to him. Tommy sat down next to Tubbo and asked him something. “Hey Tubbo, why were you sitting by the street?” Tubbo looked sad “Well, my parents told me to wait there for them. They said that they would be right back but they haven’t come back yet. I still wait for them though, just in case,”. Tommy looked at his new friend and knew that he would protect him.

He saw both of his brothers leave the house. “Oh! That’s my brother Technoblade! He’s really good at fighting!” he pointed to him as he left. He kept his voice down so he wouldn’t hear him. “Oh and that’s my brother Wilbur! He can play the guitar! He’s really good at it, you should hear him play sometime!” Tommy told Tubbo stories about the things he and his brothers had done.

Soon, he saw his father leaving the house and heading into town. “Tubbo come on!” Tommy led Tubbo into their house and got him a glass of water. While Tubbo was drinking the water, he ran to his room and grabbed some old clothes of his to give to Tubbo. His clothes were so ripped and dirty that he needed new ones. “Here you go Tubbo!” he said as he gave him the clothes Tubbo’s face lit up as he took the clothes and went to get changed.

When he came back, he had cleaned the dirt off his face and hands. He was wearing a green t-shirt and some pair of pants that Tommy wouldn’t have worn anyways. They went back outside and started playing around with sticks. Soon, Phil was back. “Who’s that Tommy?” he asked. “This is Tubbo and he’s my best friend!” Tommy replied while both of them were smiling. “Hi Mr. Tommy’s dad!” Philza laughed as he told Tubbo his name.

“Dad, can Tubbo stay the night?” Tommy asked. Phil responded “Sure, why not!” Tommy and Tubbo started jumping up and down, smiling. They continued playing in the yard as Techno and Wilbur made their way back to the house. Soon, it got dark and they went inside. Tubbo stayed in the living room talking to Phil while Tommy cleaned up his room so there was room on the floor for a blanket fort. Tommy raided the kitchen for any sweets he could find and put them in the fort as he brought Tubbo back to see it. They stayed up until three in the morning, laughing, playing games, and telling stories. Soon enough, Tommy and Tubbo fell asleep, exhausted from their busy day. Today was a nice day.
