On The Run
By the time that it was night, Tommy and Tubbo had gotten a few hundred blocks away from L'manberg. Tommy missed his home but he knew that he shouldn't be there. He promised himself that he would protect Tubbo and right now to protect him, he had to leave. They kept riding away throughout the night.

By midday on Saturday, they hadn't seen any man-made structures. Sunday morning, they decided that they had rode far enough and made a clearing in the woods. Tommy worked to build the house while Tubbo worked on a farm using some seeds that he had brought with him. Tommy placed down a jukebox and put in one of his discs so they could at least not sit in silence while they worked on their home.

Soon enough, the house was finished and so was their farm. They sat down on the floor and ate their "dinner" of some bread in silence. "I don't know when, or if, we're ever going to be able to go back," Tommy said. Tubbo just looked down at the floor "I- I'm sorry Tubbo,". Tubbo looked up at him and smiled "It's ok Tommy,".

Soon enough, it had gotten dark. As they laid down, Tommy just laid in bed, staring at the ceiling. As he stared at the ceiling, Wilbur's words entered his head. Tubbo will leave you. Wilbur, please. He will drop you the second he can. Stop it. Neither Tommy nor Tubbo got more than a few minutes of sleep that night.

As they both "awoke", Tommy went and made sure that there wasn't anyone near. It was Monday, so people should be wondering where they went by now.

Wilbur's POV
Where was Tommy? He said he'd be back by Saturday. He always comes back. Always. What if it's your fault? Where is he? Wilbur's head was full of questions. He went to go check for something, anything, that might say where he was heading with Tubbo. Tubbo. He was going with Tubbo! What if Tubbo did something to him? The thought of Tubbo hurting Tommy made rage boil up inside of Wilbur.

As Wilbur went to Tommy's room, he saw a book on his bed. On top was a note. 'Tubbo and I are gone. I'm sorry for leaving but it's what is best for both of us. In this book are notes addressed to friends and family.' Wilbur opened the book up. He flipped through the whole book, looking to see if there was one for him.

Soon enough, he saw one. The note was filled with 'I'm sorry' and 'I care about you a lot, Wilbur'. 'I miss you, Wilbur. The old you. The Wilbur who would help me pull stupid pranks on Dad and Techno. The Wilbur who would play guitar for us. The Wilbur who gardened with Tubbo. The Wilbur who cared about more than blowing their former nation up. I don't like what you've become, Wilbur. I'm keeping me and Tubbo safe by leaving. I'm sorry. Please, just, don't blow it up Wilbur. Please.' That part stuck out to him.

Tubbo made him do this. It's Tubbo's fault that Tommy is gone. Wilbur loved Tommy. He was one of the few things that he cared about these days. Before Phil left on his trip, he promised him he would protect him. And now, he was gone because of him. Because of Tubbo. You did nothing wrong. It's Tubbo's fault.

Wilbur left to go tell people that Tommy and Tubbo were gone and to give them their notes. Once he got back, he told Techno what had happened and gave him his note. Wilbur didn't stay around long enough to see Techno's reaction. He had things to do.

Tommy's POV
Tommy spent a few hours exploring the surrounding area and setting up a makeshift alarm system, just in case anyone, or anything, tried to hurt them. When he came back, he saw Tubbo sitting in the grass by their farm, picking at the grass. Tommy could see that his cheeks were wet from tears.

When Tubbo saw that Tommy was coming, he wiped off his face with the sleeve of his shirt and he smiled at Tommy. "You ok, Tubbo?" Tommy asked him. "Yeah, I'm fine," Tubbo paused before continuing "I was just thinking about Wilbur," Tubbo looked back down at the grass. "I miss him Tommy,". Tommy sat down with him "Yeah me too Tubbo. Hopefully, one day, he'll realize that this isn't a good idea and we'll be able to go back,"

Sitting there on the grass reminded Tommy of when he first met Tubbo. That was a nice day. If only he could go back, back to when him and Tubbo did something new everyday and everything was fun. Back when him and his brothers all lived together. Back when Wilbur was normal.

Soon enough, Tommy and Tubbo went back inside and ate another dinner of some bread but this time they had some fruit, too. "Hey Tubbo, remember that day that we met each other?" Tubbo looked up at Tommy from the book he was reading, "Yeah, of course I do! That was one of the best days of my life!" Tubbo said with a smile on his face.

Tommy smiled. It was nice to know that the day they met was the best day of his life to Tubbo. Tubbo continued "Why are you thinking about it?" Tommy looked down "I was just thinking about back then, y'know, back when Wilbur was, well, Wilbur." Tubbo looked down too "Yeah. I miss back when Wilbur was himself. Remember that garden we had?" Tubbo smiled and went on. "And then those stupid rabbits came through and stomped all the crops out." Tommy looked at Tubbo, his face blank. "Tubbo, uh, how do I say this, well, I may or may not have stomped out the crops and made up the rabbit story," Tommy said. "WHAT!? Tommy, why'd you do that?" Tommy could tell that he wasn't really mad. I mean, this was when they were ten. "I was running through from town and I forgot that it was there!" Tommy said laughing. Tommy and Tubbo spent the rest of the night telling stories from before and laughing. That night was one of the best nights for Tommy in a while.

Wilbur's POV
Wilbur had spent hours working on setting up the TNT under Manberg. Before, he wasn't a hundred percent sure if he wanted to blow it up but seeing how Tubbo had taken one of the only people that he cared about. The ONLY person he cared about. So now, he had to do something. He NEEDED to blow it up. He needed to find Tommy. He made a promise to protect Tommy to their father and he didn't know what he'd do with himself if he broke that promise.

A small, quiet voice in Wilbur's head spoke up. Would he be proud if you blew up Manberg? "Shut up," Wilbur muttered to himself. He would understand that Tommy ran away. "Please just be quiet," Wilbur muttered to himself. You don't have to do this! Wilbur was fed up "Shut up!" Wilbur yelled. That voice in his head came back. He used to like it, it was like his voice of reason. But not anymore. It was like a small child that kept nagging at him and Wilbur hated it. Luckly, the voice seemed to understand as it got quieter and quieter.

Wilbur got another idea and ran back to the ravine as fast as he could. Running through the forest, moonlight and a torch illuminating his way. When he got to the ravine he ran to one of his private chests and found a piece of paper from a few years ago. On it, was what to do incase of an emergency while he was gone. Wilbur knew he would be here as soon as possible. He grabbed Tommy's book of notes and ripped out a blank page and started writing as fast as he could, 'Dad, you need to get here now. It's Tommy.' And went and got it sent to him as soon as possible.
