Elianne's POV
I blinked a few times and saw I was in another room. I sat up but someone pushed me back down gently. My vision started to go back to normal and saw I was in the surgery room. I looked down at my arm to see it covered with white cement.
"Well, Ms. Brooke. The 'surgery' went well so we didn't have to cut your arm open.. I don't think it's a surgery but... I don't know what else to call it." The doctor smiled.
"Tell me when you're feeling okay. Because after taking that medicine, you'll wake up with a pounding head.." The nurse said and went away. I looked up at the clock. Hm.. 7:32 "I'm okie dokie." I said.
I shook my head and my head's not dizzy any more.. well only a little bit dizzy but, that'll do. I called the nurse and she assisted me to go to the wheel chair. Wait, it's seven? So does that mean I have fallen asleep for real and not because of the medicine? Huh.
We got out of the room and we entered the elevator. "What happened? You know, why have you broken your arm, sweety?"
I sighed. "I-- well, I kept having this memory flash, so on my way downstairs, I got that memory flash, got dizzy, took a step accidentaly, slipped, and fell down."
The nurse nodded and smiled. "I had that too, sweetie. I used to have memories of me and a little boy. We were best friends. One day, I had in another crash and I found out that THAT little boy was my now long time boyfriend... Fate did pulled us together." The nurse chuckles and clears her throat. "I mean long time husband."
I smiled. That was really sweet. "Well, fate has been being a butt for making me fall into this mess. I know, part of life and yadda yadda... My friends always tell me that."
The nurse laughs and opens a door. I looked around and saw my mother sitting on the chair, holding clothes.
"Well, fate knows what it's doing, don't be afraid." The nurse muttered on my ear and left me in the room.
"Ah! Anne, I'm so glad you're still alright." My mother hugs me.
"Yeah..." I smiled at my loving mother. I'm really reliefed that my mother isn't one of those snobby rich people. She's not what she looks like. Sure, her eyebrows are perfectly done and on fleek, her makeup is light, her hair falls on a perfect place, jewelry there and here but she's loving, sweet and other stuff like that.
"Let's get you home. It's christmas for your brother's sake." She said and I let out a small laugh. I remember when Will still wakes up early to wake me up even if he's already in his 20's.
I took the clothes and walked into the bathroom. I wore it and got out. Me and my mom walked to the desk on the opening of the hospital and paid. I saw that kind nurse walking and I ran up to her and tapped her shoulder. She looked around and smiled.
"Hey, I just wanted to say merry Christmas. Have a merry Christmas with your husband." I said and she nodded.
"Merry Christmas to you too, Elianne. I hope your arm gets well soon and you'll get over those HORRIBLE memory flashes." We laughed and I waved her goodbye.
I followed mom to the car and we finally drove off and to the house. I was excited until... something clicked.
Marzia's still mad at me.
----
I got home, limping. My legs hurt but no broken bones... but still, it fuckig hurts.
"ANNE!" I heard a familiar voice shout.
I looked up to the tall man. Dirty-blonde hair, blue-green eyes like my brother's since mine's lighter, and he pretty much looked like me. Yeah, you guessed it. It's my father!
