I walk in to the little room where I keep Flynn hidden. And I calm him down so that he lays down and then I turn to face Elena and Draco.

"So what do you want to ask me." I ask looking at Draco and he walks in looking around.

"Is this we're going keep him?" He Asks as he notices the cramped space.

"I don't have a lot of money. It's why I need you to keep this a secret, just till I find a better place for him." I slightly beg and he looks at me.

"Viper I won't tell anyone but why didn't you tell me?" He says and I raise an eyebrow.

"Didn't you two meet like last night." Elena says and it hits him.

"Oh yeah. Right. Still this stables big enough for another dragon." He says and I smile sadly at him.

"Draco that's sweet and all but I still don't know if I'm staying. Besides won't ur new fiancée want her own 5 brand new dragons." The last but came out a little bitter which made Elena laugh but I bit my lip. "Sorry."

" Viper I don't love her. It's only an-" I cut him off.

"An arrangement. I know. And one I'm sure you won't be able to get out of now. So that's that." I swallow hard. I have a pain in my chest that's new.

I used to feel so comfortable around Draco. Now it just feels like walking on eggshells. Maybe this is how everyone felt around Draco.

"Viper where did you go?" He asks and I look at him.

"I went everywhere. I was on the run I-" he cuts me off.

"No I mean where did YOU go. Your apologising for being a little bit bitter, you talk to me like I'm your boss and now your giving up. I spent years looking for you. For the girl that I fell in love with and still love. But I see you but I don't see her. So tell me Viper where is she." He says this calmly but there's an edge to his tone.

"I don't know." I mumble.

"You don't know?  Wow ladies and gentlemen the great Viper Morgan's doesn't know something for once. Who would of thought." He says acting it out like there's an audience around us.

"I mean who would of thought that one day Hogwarts very own bad girl would lose her edge." He whispers closely.

"Atleast I'm not the Schools daddy's boy. No one be mean to Draco guys else he might go running home to daddy because everyone knows he doesn't know how to act unless daddy tells him what to do or now even what girl to marry. Cause he's so caught up in his little illusion of perfection and wealth he can't notice that some people work hard and are actually good for him and not just after his crummy money!" I snap. I let out a long breath and look at him. Though I'm shocked to see his smirk.

"I knew you were still there." He says smugly and I can't help but laugh.

"GIRL!"

"Oh for crying out loud." I say and I hear Elena sigh.

"The witch is back." Elena says. And I see Draco look at me blankly.

"THERE YOU ARE. GET BACK TO WORK ELSE I'LL-" before she finishes Draco let's put a small look and raises an eyebrow at her. And I kid you not she looked like she'd see a ghost and she apologised! And then did the work herself.

"Can you please stay." Elena says and I laugh.

"Is she always like that?" He says sounding baffled

"Oh believe me she's worse that was her on a good day. She slapped Viper the other day!" Elena says and looks like she regrets saying it immediately.

"WHAT!" He yells and I have to grab his arm to stop him.

"Draco calm down, please." I say and he just sighs.

"Fine." he says.

I turn around and look at Flynn who's opened hie eyes. I know that look.

"Stop it." I say giving him a little shove on his nose and he lets out a little grumble and puff of smoke.

"So your relationship with his hasn't changed much then." Draco says.

"Yeah, every morning these two are just doing their thing." Elena says.

"you can't possibly want to fly again." I say noticing Flynn shuffling his wings the way he does when he wants to fly.

"Viper why don't you take Draco on a flight with Flynn." Elena says before she turns to Draco, "Its so much fun." she says excitedly.

"but what about the chores." I say.

"you haven't had a single day off and you've put up with the most crap. you deserve one day off. now go I'll sort everything out here." I smile and hug her before grabbing Draco by the arm and dragging him with me outside with Flynn following behind us.

I show Draco how to climb on and soon before we knew it we were in the clouds laughing whilst Flynn kept the ride interesting by doing random barrel rolls and drops and turns. it took a while but Draco soon learnt to trust that Flynn knew what he was doing.

We basically spent the whole day with each other. It was nice to feel comfortable around Draco again. I'd missed him.

We stopped at the top of a hill and watched the clouds pass above us.

"So tell me, what was Hogwarts like after I left." I ask.

"It went to hell." Draco sighs and I cuddle into him. "A lot of people died afterwards. when the deathly hallows came everyone was sort of expecting you to magically show up again. but when you didn't we all knew you weren't coming back. now I know why." He sounds so sad. I link my fingers with his.

"Well I'm back now aren't I?" I say trying to cheer him up.

"Yeah but its too late. I can't be with you Viper. I'm engaged." Id forgotten about that. I pull away and walk over to Flynn.

"Yeah, Its getting late. better return you to her." I say. I can't look at him. if I do I know I'll fall apart. Coming back was a mistake. staying was an even bigger one.

"Viper I didn't mean it like that. come on don't push me away." he walks over and holds my shoulders.

"We should go." I say before I climb up on to Flynns back.

the flight back was quiet.

I dropped Draco off and put Flynn back in his hidden nook. I left before Draco could talk to me.

I just needed to get away for a little bit.
