* 1Year Later*
It's been a year since Viper ran away again.
It was Potter and Granger who broke the news to me. Apparently she'd left them letters explaining it was too painful to see me with Sabrina.
So I've spent that year stuck in a loveless engagement with a wedding planned in 1 month. And for the next month I'm at Hogwarts for some sort of 'Legacies gathering'.
Hogwarts is still half way through being rebuilt so there's no students. It's the only reason we're all allowed to stay in our old dorms.
I travel out there today but I'm questioning if I even want to go at this point. Going back to the source of mine and Vipers relationship. Worst of all I have to bring Sabrina, thankfully though she belongs to Ravenclaw so I won't see her as much.
"Draco hurry up the cars her to take us to the station." I here Sabrina call.
"Coming!" I yell back. I'm still not on good terms with her after the kiss.
I grab my bags and make my way downstairs and out to the car. I put them in the trunk and close it.
1hour car journey with Sabrina, oh what a joy.
I didn't speak most of the journey. The most I said was 'mhm' and 'whatever' and it had been muffled as I'd said it into my fist.
When we arrived at the station I didn't hesitate to get out. I grabbed my things from the car and just left. I made my way through the wall and arrived at platform 9 3/4. There I met up with Goyle and Crabbe and a few other Slytherin boys I'd known.
I looked around and there was still no sign of Viper. I hadn't really expected her to show.
We all border the train and I wasn't feeling very talkative. I just listened to the others. Then suddenly there was a large rumble of chatter throughout the train and Goyle tapped me on the shoulder.
"Draco look." He said pointing out the window. Then too my shock there were countless dragons surrounding and flying across the train.
"What the hell?" I asked. Then I saw one that seemed familiar but I lost them before I had a chance to check.
"I've never seen so many dragons in one spot." Crabbe said in shock.
I just nodded and went back to my thoughts.

The goblet of fire was coming up and Viper was still hold up in her room. I'd go in to check on her between my classes and any gaps I had.
I'd wanted to stay off but she'd insisted I kept up with my studies.
I had a free period today so I went to go see her and check If she was ok.
"Hey." I said as she opened her eyes all sleepy like.
"Hiiiii." She yawned. She then just opened her arms signalling for me to hug her.
"How you feeling?" I asked after giving her a kiss on the forehead.
"Better now your here." She slightly giggled. The tension had started to ease between us after the fight.
I just laid there the rest of the day holding her close to me. We didn't say a word just being this close to each other was enough. Then she broke the silence.
"Draco?" She mumbled into my shoulder.
"Yeah?" I said.
"Will you always protect me?" She said. Thinking back I notice what I missed. Her voice was shaky like she was scared.
Had the threats already started, even back then?!
*present time*
"Greetings students and welcome back to the almost rebuilt Hogwarts." McGonagalls voice echoed around the now rebuilt dining hall as we all sat down in our rows of houses.
The only thing missing was Viper sat leaning he head on my shoulder next to me whispering her little comments in my ear to try make me laugh.
"As you all know you are here for the new celebration of legacies month. You will relive your experience as a student as well as learning about each other in a new perspective. However, sadly there are many who will not return this month but they shall be honoured in a ceremony at the end of each week." McGonagall said.
"What about Viper Morgans?" A boy from the hufflepuff table called which started a mumbling of conversations across the hall.
"As I'm sure your all aware the search for Ms Morgans was called off a year ago. While we hopes she's safe it seems unlikely that she'll return." She replied.
Suddenly the lights all went out and there were some gasps. A sudden bright green flame shot down both the sides of the hall as people began to panic.
"What's going on!"
"He's back! Voldemort's back!"
"What do we do?!!!"
Were just a few of the things being yelled.
Then the fire burst out into a flaming Python. It hissed there were screams starting to form. Then a laugh echoed through as the fire python collapsed in on itself and the fire burst up into one big ball and then vanished but there was a figure.
The room was dead silent as the figure raised their wand and a burst of light shot out. The lights came on and every one looked to see who it was.
"Miss me?" Everyone gasps in shock as Viper is stood right in front of all of us. The room immediately bursts into chatter and she walks over to McGonagall and they hug like old friends.
"Silence." McGonagall says and it stops. "I'm sure your all as shocked as I am. But I think it's best to return to your house common rooms and we'll pick up from here in the morning."
We all slowly leave but Viper stays behind to talk to McGonagall.
"Did you see that?!"
"It's her! It's actually her!"
"How has she gotten hotter?"
"Do you think she remembers us?"
Was all I heard the whole way to the common room.
But why come back? Someone's out to kill her and she's come to the most obvious place. Why? What's her game?
