Julian POV

Julian looked to him, making sur ehis facial expression didn't change as the man gave a sigh. But he relaxed internally as the man said that it wasn't because of him. Good, that means he wasn't forcing Geralt here with him. Was he? He even got him the suit, the man didn't have to wear it if he didn't want to though. So he must want to. Enough. The man came and is wearing the suit, Geralt would say if he didn't want to.

The Chameleon wasn't too fancy of a building but hell, it was pretty fancy for Posada that was for sure. There were windows pretty much well everywhere, but form a distance they can look like walls. They had black out windows that you can only see out of for some rooms as well, that was on of theirs t the top level. The place was lit up, doors open with a man and woman on the outside guarding the place.

Julian kept walking, keeping in line with Geralts steps as he ignores the picks of his legs, they were always going to be there while he was healing. He kept his eyes open, watching the movements of the few people who were coming out of the building, the place had lively chatter and music which filled the air, not overly loud so people at dinner could still walk. The woman held a clipboard. Good, she'd be the one who would take them to their room then.

Geralt POV

Geralt grew more and more uneasy with each step he took, but despite himself, he kept walking. He didn't want to have to be here, but he was here now and he would do his job and protect Julian. That was really why he was here. It was certainly why he was in Posada with the man, instead of halfway around the world with some other client. Geralt was the bodyguard who already knew Julian. He was the one who the man trusted and even loved. He was the obvious choice for spying and for guarding.

When they approached the two people waiting by the door (guarding, from Geralt's perspective), he looked them overly quickly. They were sure to recognise him. Here was the moment of truth, in a sense. Surely Julian had mentioned to the workers of the establishment who and what Geralt was. If not, then they were likely in for a less than pleasant surprise. Not even a surprise, really. Just a disappointment. Though if it came to it, they could simply pose as client and bodyguard. That was what they were, unofficially. It was the same to the Corps either way. Speaking of which, Geralt needed to keep an eye out for Vesemir's watchers.

Julian kept a eye in Geralt out of the corner of his eye, the man seemed unsettled and unsure. Not like he was being forced to this place but like he was, dare he say, nervous. Julian decided for now he would ignore it. The woman looked up from her clip board and saw the two, the man had been watching them the whole time. She gave a welcoming smile, one for all people who came here, and looked to the two. Sh eknew Julian had another person coming. She did tknow who hut she had her suspicions. The butcher himself was not one of them. But she kept her smile none the less, she had no reason to dislike the man as of yet.

"Julian, nice to see you're early." she said with a small smile to him and he gave a nod to her. "Good to see you're well, Maria. He is my plus one. Geralt meet Maria, Maria, Geralt. " he explained in case it needed explaining before he glanced to Geralt then back to Maria.

She got the message and gave Geralt a curt nod in greeting before she extended one arm towards the door."This way if you would please, gentlemen." she spoke as she then turned and walked in first. If there was a threat, she was to ensure the man, well, both of the mens safety.

Geralt POV

Geralt was careful. He kept his mouth shut. He ignored the curious stares of the man by the door. He nodded sharply and politely in return when introduced to Maria. And he kept his mouth shut. Most importantly, he stayed quiet, not wanting to draw attention to himself. He didn't try to appear smaller. That would only call attention to any nerves he might have been feeling.
