The sharpest lives

The house was full of dead people. At the very back of the room was a cage with girl inside. Sam and Meira rushed to her. She tried to open the lock, meanwhile Sam was making sure there's no one in there with them. There was a lound noise in the other room.

Sam looked at Meira. ,,Will you be okey? I'm gonna check it out."

,,I will. Be careful." she said an then got back to unlocking that cage.

After few minutes, Hunter went to the house to look what took them so long. Dean stayed outside. She went inside, finding Meira in a room with dead bodies and girl in the cage. Some memories from her past ran trough her mind, but she blocked them. She tried to help Meira to get the girl out, when she saw a ghoul approaching them. She quicly shot it in the head, killing it while scaring the young girl.

There was another loud noise from the other room. They all heard it.

,,Where's Sam?" Hunter asked with worry in her voice. She was worried about her best friend.

,,In the other room." Meira said. ,,Go there, I'll be fine here."

The lock from the cage didn't budge and another ghoul was approaching Meira. She screamed for Dean to get his ass down there and help her.

,,Take this." she said and gave the young girl her gun. ,,Shoot everything that moves, okey?"

Meanwhile Hunter saw Sam fighting two other ghouls, she shot one and Sam took care of the other one.

The girl tried to kill the ghoul that wanted to attack Meira, she completely missed and almost hit Dean.

,,Son of a bitch!" he screamed.

Meira grabbed the first object that was close and hit the ghoul. It didn't work and it only made him more angry.  He pushed her into the cage and she hit her head. Dean shot him, but two more came into the room.

Hunter and Sam rushed in, shooting the ghouls, while Dean helped Meira to get the girl out. They burned all the bodies and took the girl into hospital to make sure she's okey. And once they made sure, that she's gonna be fine, they called her parents and got back to the car.

,,Yeah, we're fine. We're on our way home and..." Hunter noticed that Meira is falling asleep, while she was calling Cas. ,,Hold on." she turned the music down a little to let Meira sleep.

She tried to sleep too, but couldn't. The sight of so many dead bodies brought back memories that she kept buried. Memories of her family. There was a lot on her mind.

Meira woke up when they parked outside of the bunker. Cas was waiting outside, wanting to give them a hug, but Meira just smiled and walked past him, going to bed.

The rest of them hugged, Jack was already resting as well, so they didn't meet. They all went inside, Sam and Cas went to bed while Dean and Hunter stayed awake.

Hunter poured herself some vodka while Dean took a beer. Soon Dean excused himself to go to sleep and she went after him, after she finished her drink.  But she couldn't fall asleep, so she decicded to read her father's journal and look at some photos of her family she kept there.

It was 4AM when she was just about to fall asleep, she heard some noises from the kitchen. She went there, had her gun with her, ready to shoot anyone that is there. She almost shot Meira when she saw her there. She was standing near the freezer with ice on her head. The pain was just horrible. She showed little smile and waved at Hunter, who just laughed, relieved. Hunter tried to smile back to hide how tired she actually was but it wasn't a good smile and Meira looked at her, worried.

,,Hey, you don't need to worry about me, I'm just tired, it's nothing." Hunter said while yawning.

,,I told you for thousand times already that you should get proper rest. We have a new case basicaly every day. Maybe if you were to sleep in someone else's bed you could sleep better." Meira said.

,,I have no idea what you're talking about, kid but sure. Whatever helps you sleep at night."

After that conversation they both went to sleep
