Their life was actually really good for three months. They stayed at Ellen's, trained as much as they could and sometimes, they went to solve some cases. But they were carefull about that. But they knew that they won't live this good life forever.
Meira went down to get some food, when she saw police standing in bar, talking with Ellen. She run up the stairs to their room, locked the doors behind her.
,,What?" Hunter asked.
,,We're screwed." Meira told her. ,,Police is down there, we need to get out. Now."
Hunter looked around the room and then out the window. The true was that Meira got really good with guns and in fighting, so they were ready basically for everything. ,,We have to jump."
They were lucky they never unpacked their things and that they weren't so high. Hunter jumped first. Meira dropped their bags out and Hunter cought it, then she jumped too. They were really happy that they had a window at the back of the Roadhouse.
They walked quietly to the front so no one can see them or hear them. They both changed. They looked different and also acted different. Hunter's hair were really long, with some purple hightlights at the ends, but Meira's were short as she cut it almost every week. They both had more muscles on their bodies from crazy training Hunter put them trough. They just both changed over the three months. Meira sometimes felt, that she's more like Hunter.
They quickly ran to their car without police seeing them and drove away. The police noticed their car missing and started to chase them. Of course it couldn't be so fucking easy. Fuck their lifes, really.
They needed to get rid of them. Meira took her gun, put her almost platinum hair into ponytail, rolled the window down and got out of the window just enough that if Hunter did a quick turn, Meira would fall out. She shot carefully, didn't want to hurt anyone, she shot at their tires, hitting them. They started to slow down enough for them to get away. They had nowhere to go and needed a new car.
,,I have an idea." Hunter said.
,,I don't care what is it as long as they won't find us." Meira responded.
It was a really bad idea, but they needed a new car, even though Hunter didn't want to give up her Jeep, it was the only thing she had left of her mother. There was only one place that came to her mind and no one goes there anymore.
Hunter stopped the car. They were at Bobby's old junkyard. It brought so many memories to her that she almost started crying, but they needed that stupid car to get away.
No one went there after Bobby died, the memories were too hurfull to go there. It was really sad, she still remembered the first time she was there, right after she killed her family.
She got out of the car and so did Meira. She looked at Hunter like she was crazy. But maybe she was with how little sleep she got those three monts. She wouldn't be surprised if she lost her sanity.
,,Get our stuff, I'll find us new car." Hunter said and Meira nodded.
This is terrible idea. Hunter thought as the memories came, crushing her poor broken heart.
As Meira was looking at the junkyard, memories came crushing her, the bad ones as well as the happy ones, but somehow the happy ones hurt even more. She knew they need new car, but new car won't make the police stop chasing them. There was also Bobby's house, which was empty, so maybe they could stay there, but not even that will stop the police. They won't stop looking for then until they find them. They needed to be gone and not just to another city, no, they needed to be dead.
