After Meira won them hundred dolars, they played more. She was kinda drunk, because that man bought her few drinks. Hunter was pretty drunk by this time, her mind almost empty, just almost. There was still one person on her mind. Dean fucking Winchester. Why can't she get him out of her head after tonight? She just wanted to forget. She thought that he didn't even liked her the same way she did, so what was the point of keeping him in her mind?
After deciding that if she drank more whiskey she would pass out, Hunter ordered some water and started talking to the barman. He was actually really pretty so she tried to distract her mind with him.
,,Come outside with me." The man, who Meira was playing pool with, said. His name was actually James.
,,I don't think that's a good idea." Meira said. ,,I'm here with my friend and I don't want to leave her alone here."
,,Come on girl, we'll be just in front the bar. I promise. I only want to smoke. And you beat me so many times, you owe me." he said.
Sam came to her mind again. But why? She wasn't cheating or anything, they weren't together and he didn't care anyways. He would say something if he would, right?
,,Okey, sure." she said, smiled and followed him outside.
She didn't bother to tell Hunter, because she saw her flirting with the barman and she didn't plan to be outside for long time.
James lit his cigarette and he offered Meira one. She didn't really smoke, not since she was eighteen. When she looked at the cigarette, she remembered how Sam hated smoking. She shook her head and took the cigarette, no one is here to stop her, so fuck it.
James told Meira few jokes, which she laughed at, forgetting why they were there in the first place.
,,So what about your family?" he asked her.
Meira sighed and let the smoke hit her lungs. She had no idea what to say.,,It's...complicated."
,,Well I live in a big family with my friends. We have this big house with really big basement for people."
,,Excuse me?" Meira asked, she didn't know if she heard him right.
,,One of our victims run away today, so I had to find another one." he continued.
Now she hated herself for not bringing any weapon. No gun, no knife, no anything. He looked at her and showed her his fangs. She didn't have any time to scream for Hunter, because in that moment, one of James's friends put a needle to her neck and everything started to fade.
Hunter saw Meira walk outside and decided to watch her. Something was just wrong with that guy, she could feel it. And of course her gut was right, that fucker was a vampire. She got up to go and save her, but the barman guy wanted to talk some more, he grabbed her hand, not letting her go. She had enough for today and she snapped. Thank god for Cas, for fixing her before they left. She rushed outside, grabbing her gun.
Meira had no idea what's happening. Her vision was too blurry to see. She felt someone carry her and then doors from some van closed. She heard Hunter screaming, but she wasn't able to move or see, just hear.
Hunter went right after that vampire, shooting him in the head so he would stop and she could get to Meira. It worked, her turned to look at her and smiled, blood dripping from the hole in his head. She knew she had to act quickly. She opened the doors and took Meira out. But she wasn't quick enough and as she was putting her down, he grabbed her arm. With one solid punch in the face he let her go and she knew what she have to do next. As he was holding his nose, she kicked him in the stomach, making him fall on his back, neck between the van back doors. She hit the doors with as much strenght she had in her, cutting his head off.
