Lean On Me

Yoongi's POV:

"NIGHT NIGHT SLEEP TIGHT DON'T LET THE BEDBUGS BITE YOONGI"

I grunt in annoyance at the group's reply only to hear Cody giggling slightly next to me at my reaction. I quickly grab her, one hand wrapped around her waist and the other clasping over her mouth to stop the scream that she had started to let out

I then heard from across the room Erin mumble something before going silent and then Jin and Namjoon both decide to speak up.

Namjoon: "If you two plan on having sex, can you do it when we're not here?"

Jin: "Yeah and if you do you might want to get the sound proof, sounds like Cody's a squealer"

Cody and I instantly shuffle away from each other and lay down on our respective sides of the bed, facing away from each other. My face burns at the thought of doing it with her, a slight smile on my face imagining it and how it would play out, before I'm quickly brought back to reality when I hear Cody speak up

Cody: "We weren't! And shut up Jin!" she huffs out before I hear her smacking the duvet and shifting around in the bed which seems to cause a lot of noise

Namjoon: "Yoongi put a leash on her and get her to stop moving, some of us are trying to sleep" he yawns out before it goes deadly silent in the bedroom.

I decide to leave Cody alone tonight, as I don't want her to feel any more embarrassed than she probably is, I can feel her still shifting around on her side of our bed though but still I decide to ignore it and try to fall asleep.

Around an hour passes and it seems everyone has managed to fall asleep, apart from Cody who still hasn't managed to get herself comfortable. I turn around to face her only to find that I was wrong and she actually is asleep, only she looks pained and seems to be having a nightmare. She lets out a small whimper before she starts involuntarily shaking, I instantly go to hold her, in an attempt to calm her down. Surprisingly it seems to be working as her body stills and her breathing evens out. I carry on holding her until I'm sure she's ok, now letting go and laying back on my side of the bed, trying not to wake her as I try to deal with the pain of my shoulder that I feel without waking anyone up.

Unfortunately for me though, I wasn't quiet enough as I heard Cody whisper to me.

Cody: "Yoonie what's wrong?"

Yoongi: "Nothing Codes"

Cody: "You don't need to lie to me Yoonie, I'm here for you" she says before hesitating, "it's your shoulder isn't it?"

I sigh before nodding at her, which I didn't think she saw until I feel her lift herself off the bed and walk out of the bedroom. I ponder on what she's doing before she returns back to the room, an makeshift ice pack along with pain medication and a glass of water all in her hands.

She pulls me up gently so that I'm sitting in front of her in our bed, before handing me the water and medication. I get both down me whilst Cody takes the lead and places the ice pack on my shoulder. I shudder at first because of how cold it is, watching Cody as she sends me a worried glance that I return back with a simple smile. I notice her eyes light up in response before she moves to sit behind me, which causes me slight confusion before I feel her hot breath tickle against my neck.

Cody: "Does it still hurt?"

Yoongi: "Not as much as it did, thankyou" I whisper before I feel her arms wrap around my waist, her grip tightening slightly as she moves to have herself propped up against her headboard with me propped up in her arms.

Cody: "Do you want a pillow?" she asks me a smile still on her precious face

I smile at her before shaking my head, seemingly sinking into her calming embrace, I notice how warm her hands are before one moves from around my waist and starts to stroke my hair.

I smile at the gesture, it causes me to close my eyes and start to drift off to sleep whilst Cody hums a quiet tune. She notices me start to drift off and stops humming, only to notice my eyes flutter open and look up at her.

Cody: "Hey what's wrong? I thought you were going to sleep?"

Yoongi: "But you stopped" I say sadly

Cody: "What?" she asks me a look of confusion on her face

Yoongi: "You stopped stroking my hair and humming, I was enjoying it, it was nice and peaceful, why'd you stop?" I ask pouting slightly which makes her laugh quietly

Cody: "Oh my poor sweet baby, I'll carry on if you want?" she says before I hum in approval, my eyelids shutting as I feel her hands run through my hair and her quiet song repeat.

I smile at her comforting gestures, nearly fully asleep before I tense up slightly which she seems to notice, but doesn't say anything about, instead carrying on humming and running her fingers through my hair.

Yoongi: "You're gonna be aching in the morning if we stay laid like this" I whisper to her, whilst looking at her

Cody: "I'm actually quite comfortable, but we can move if you'd like" she offers up, I would've said yes if it meant she'd be laid on her pillow and the mattress but all I can manage in response is silence as my eyes close again whilst she continues.

I feel her gaze upon me as I drift off into a deep sleep, four words continuously repeating themselves in my head.

'my poor sweet baby'

Normally I would've cringed at the words but hearing them from her made my heart surge with a warm feeling, and butterflies invaded my stomach.
