The Dome.

Rollercoaster

Erin's POV:

It had been a long time since we left The Dome and the boys were still living with us in the UK, it was also nearly Christmas too. I was so excited for my first Christmas outside of The Dome, hell I loved Christmas, aside from my birthday it was the only time of year I thoroughly enjoyed, though I kinda liked the build up to Christmas more than the actual day.

Cody and I still hadn't heard anything from Julian and I wondered why, I mean we literally had his little boy, and we didn't know what to do with him apart from what we normally did. It was weird he hadn't got in contact with any of us, and the silence from him made me anxious, of course I kept this to myself, I didn't want to worry anyone else in the group or my Mum/Dad, it'd be pointless anyways since no one could give me any answers.

I was walking around the street, flakes of snow falling from the sky, landing in my already wet hair from this morning's shower, waves of hair toppling over each other as I continued my walk. It's quiet and peaceful. I feel calm. But I shouldn't.

The boys are leaving soon, but apparently there's going to be a press conference where they're going to tell the world what happened. Cody and I don't get any say on what they will talk about so we can only hope they miss out traumatic parts. Maybe the whole potentially murdering the guys that kidnapped us would be nice. I'm not too sure.

As I walk up a small hill I feel a pair of arms push me gently causing me to turn around, Cody.

Erin: "Hey, whatcha doing? I thought you were helping the guys with their stuff? And what about Toby?"

Cody: "Toby's helping your Mum make gingerbread and the boys can handle it themselves, it's not like anyone wants me around anyways" she said trailing off.

Erin: "What do you mean?" I ask as we both start walking again.

Cody: "Ever since Yoongi and I...well you know"

Erin: "I can never forget it, believe me" I said with wide eyes whilst staring at the floor.

Cody: "Haha yeah...well ever since then we've been really close and stuff but now...well now he's been acting mean, I'm not sure what to do about it, I mean I thought he liked me"

Erin: "All the boys have been snappy for the past week, hell Taehyung doesn't even come to my room at night, he stays in his own"

Cody: "Same with Yoongi, I tried going to him once but the door was locked so I gave up and went back to my room"

Erin: "Maybe they're sick of being around us eh?" I say joking, only to see Cody without a smile on her face, "I was messing, come on" I say dragging her by the arm and leading her further up the hill.

Cody: "My Mum says she's gonna come over with my Grandma for Christmas, I'm excited" she says, her eyes lighting up at the mention of her Mum.

Cody's Mum got to my house like four days after we arrived ourselves and she completely lost it when she saw Cody, throwing all her bags to the floor and hugging her, I remember watching and feeling happy that she was back with her family, and then I nearly lost it crying with laughter when I looked at the boys who were all confused as to who the shorter white woman was, especially considering Cody isn't white. They got it though when Cody explained to the group that her Mum is white and her Dad wherever he may be is Black.
