"Where are we?"

I shrugged my shoulders after stepping off the bus. "I have no idea."

Lee Donghyuck furrowed his eyebrows and looked around. "Then why did you bring us here?"

"Why not?" I smiled and walked ahead, spinning around momentarily to meet his eyes. "Do you smell that?" I asked as a pleasant aroma hit my nose.

He looked around before letting out a small chuckle. He led me into a small bakery shop where an assortment of freshly baked breads where being put out on display.

"I take it you haven't had breakfast yet."

"Well how could I?" I crossed my arms. "My brother and I were scheduled to have an early morning meeting with the CEO of a particular company but he showed up completely late." I slightly raised an eyebrow. "Quite unprofessional if you ask me." I sarcastically remarked.

"This CEO guy sounds like a jerk." He replied, an apologetic smile grimacing his lips.

"Oh I don't know." I pressed my lips together momentarily. "He might not be so bad."

"Perhaps you're right." He paused, a slight frown suddenly appearing. "Or perhaps he's worst than bad."

I frowned at the deep sadness visible in his eyes. But it was more than just sadness, there was pain, suffering, loneliness. I couldn't explain why but my heart physically hurt as I gazed into his broken eyes.

I gently placed my hand over his. "I don't believe that."

He smiled, a small shimmer of warmth filling his eyes where there was only darkness just seconds before.

I quickly let go of his hand when I felt myself blush and directed my attention to an elderly lady standing behind the counter of the small bakery shop.

"What can I get for you children?" She asked causing me to let out a small giggle. I couldn't remember the last time someone called me a child.

"I'll take a slice of strawberry filled sweet bread and a cup of coffee."

She nodded and looked at Heachan. "And for you my son?"

He chuckled, briefly glancing at the menu on the wall. "Just a coffee is fine, thank you."

We sat across from each other at a small table while we both drank our coffees.

"So tell me Mr. Lee, what exactly is your deal?" I asked after taking a bite of sweet bread.

"Haechan, I told you to call me Haechan." He glanced up at me and let out a laugh.

I raised an eyebrow, annoyed by his laughter. "Okay Haechan," I replied almost mockingly. "What's your deal? And what's so funny?"

"Oh nothing much," He pointed to the corner of his lip. "You just have a little something....."

I wiped the corner of my lip, a smudge of strawberry filling sticking to my thumb. I felt my cheeks burn of embarrassment as Haechan continued to chuckle at me.

"It's wasn't that funny." I muttered and rolled my eyes.

There was a brief moment of silence before he suddenly spoke. "You fascinate me."
