Chapter 6

Kanina ko pa napapansin ang nakakalokong ngiti nitong Tom nato eh. Tsssk. May binabalak to sa bestfriend ko eh. Hayss. Bahala na nga.

"Lets eat?" Nakangiti na paring sabi. Inirapan ko nalang sya at nag umpisa nang kumain.

"Mmmmmm. Ang sarap talaga Tom!" Natutuwang sabi ko. " Ba't di ka kaya magtayo ng restaurant?" Tanong ko sa kanya.

"You know, cooking is just my hobby" then he smiled to me. " And then, I'm too busy handling my own company."

" Wow. You really own a company huh?"

"Yes, why? You want to marry me now?"

"Dzuhh. Anong tingin mo sakin? Porke mayaman ka papakasalan kita? May pera ako at trabaho. Di ko kailangan pera mo!"

" Hey, i was just joking.  Im sorry if I hurt you babe" sabi nya sabay hawak saking kamay. Hinila ko ang kamay na hawak nya.

"Its fine.." i said and smile. Then he just smiled back.

We just finish our dinner, nang mapagsyahan naming magstar gazing. I look at the sky. The sky looks happy even its dark because there are the stars and moon that brings light.

Napapangiti na lang ako sa mga iniisip ko.

"Beautiful" napalingon ako sa nagsalita.

"Indeed" sagot ko habang nakatingin sa kanya.

"Ace? Can I asks you something?"

"Sure, pero I'm not promising na sasagotin ko ha" natatawa kung sabi.

" Sure. What's your full name Ace?"

"HAHAHAHA. Name lang pala? Akala ko pa naman kung anu na! Ang seryoso mo ngayon Tom. Di bagay sayo!"

"Tssk. Just answer my question please? I'll be asking you more questions after you answer."

"F-fine! Parang kinabahan ako dun ha! Hmmm. By the way, I'm Ace, Ace Ziel Nemenez" I extended my hands, para bang formal na pagpapakilala.

He reach my hand then said, "I like your name, nice meeting you Ace"

"Okay. Next question please?"

"Wait, won't you asks me my name?" Naiinsulto nyang tanong. I just shrugged.

"Damn! Fine! I'm Tom Jaile McGregor"

"Ohh. Hi, nice meeting you" sarcastikong sagot ko. hahahaha. Sarap pagtripan ni Tom ha! Akala ko pa naman sersyoso to at tigasin. Tsik. Parang bata.

" Its been along time, na nakapagpasyal ako. You know, I always stay at home. Kasi tuwing lumalabas ako, it always reminded me how me and my family go out and travel"

Tom was just still watching the stars while I'm talking.

" I always thought of coming with them because I really miss them. And I don't want to live alone"

"I thought you have friends? Imean bestfriends right?"

"Yes, I do. Niche is my girl bestfriend and she's in New York. She's handling the company that her father left. Then my boy bestfriend, Nathan. He is also busy, studying his masters abroad. So I'm alone without them"

" But they still checking on you right?"

"Ofcourse, always. Maybe I make them worry. I feel bad that I will become a burden to them. That's why I'm starting to live in my own"  I said smiling.

" And so far, you did a great job. You are doing well"

Its been 1 month when Tom and I started dating. So far, its nice. I feel athome again. He always make me happy. We travel and travel during weeking. We ate dinner together and sometimes he comes to my work to pick me up. Tom is a good guy. And I think he's worth giving a chance.

I was busy preparing my breakfast when my phone beep.

Tom:"Hey, are you up? Don't forget to eat your breakfast. Take care"

Me: okay. You too.

I am starting to get used to it. Tom sending message every morning to check if Im okay and its kinda overwhelming.

I was busy driving when someone's calling. I look at my phone screen. Nathan's calling . I press the answer button.

"Hey"

"What? Its been months since you stop answering my calls, then you will say hey? Come on, Ziel!"

I can tell that Nathan is really pissed off.

"Why? Should I say sorry Nate? Oh come on! HAHAHA"

"tsssik. Pasalamat ka at mahal kita Ziel!"

" Okay². Thank you Nate" natatawa ko paring sagot sa kanya.

"Whatever. Come and pick me up at the airport later. Please?"

"Whaaaaat? You're going home?" Pasigaw kong tanong.

"Hahaha. Yes! Ganyan mu pa ako kamiss? Makasigaw ka ha!"

" Whatever Nate! Did Niche asks you about me?"

"Yes, that friend of yours is also pissing me off! So, can you pick me up latur?"

"What? Why me? You have your guy friend right? Sila nalang. Busy ako"

"What a cold hearted bestfriend" mahina nyang sabi peri dinig ko a din.

" Hays. Okay. Just text me the time of your arrival."

"Good. Sinasabi ko na nga bang hindi moko matitiis eh. Hahahaah"

"Ewan ko sayo. Bye, I'll hang up now."

Wala naman kaming lakad ni Tom ngayon kaya, okay ako nalg magsusundo sa mokong na yun. Hays.

Its already 6 pm at nandito na ako sa airport. Tagal naman ni Nathan! Ughr. Nagugutom naku. Huhuhu. Napalingon ako nang may sumigay nang pangalan ko!

"Zieeeel!" Tumakbo si !Nate sakin at yumakap.

"Namiss kita Ziel" natutuwang sabi nya.

" Drama mo. Cge, namiss din kita. Hahaha" mayamaya ay binatukan nya ako.

"Alam mo, hindi ka parin nagbabago. " Natatwang sabi ni Nate at ginulo ang buhok ko.

Habang naglalakad kami palabas panay ang tawa namin. Panu ba naman eh loko-loko tong si Nathan eh!

"So, saan ka dederetsu?" Tanong ko sa kanya nang nasasakyan na kami.

" Umm. Pwde bang kay TJ mo nalg ako ihatid?"

"Tj? Yung pinsan mo?" Nagtatakang tanong ko.

"Oo, teka. Ba't ka ganyan makatingin?"

"Wala ah. Saan ba bahay nun?"

"Sige,ituturo ko sayo mamaya."

We talked and laugh nang nasa byahe kami. Mukhang madaming baon na kalokohan tong kaibigan ko eh. Medyo malayo layo rin ang binyahe namin nang makarating kami sa Hunk Village.

"Hunk Village? Meron pala nito?" Napapantastikong tanong ko sa kasama ko.

"Yhup. At lahat nang nakatira dito ay puro lalaki, pero tuwing nagkakapamilya ay dito na din. Some of my friends are living here"

"So, does it mean na magpapatayo ka rin ng bahay dito?"

"Of course!" Natatawa nyang sabhi. I park my car.

"Wow. Who lives here?" I asked.

"Lutang ka girl? Pinsan ko nga. Kaso minsan lang sya kung umuwi, malayo kasi sa trabaho ang bahay na to" napatango na lang ako.

"Come with me Ziel. Ipapakilala kita sa pinsan ko."

"Okay"

I heard a three knock then the door open. Nanlaki ang aking mata sa gulat sa kung sino ang nasa harapan namin ni Nathan. Sabay kaming napasigaw.

"ACE/TOM?" WTF.
