Chapter 5: Higher Love

Me: "I think I'm.. in love with you Connor."

Connor looked at me, with his mouth slightly open. I thought I ruined everything.. Why did I tell him that?

Me: "I'm sorry, I'm just confused. I have a girlfriend and this is just.. a huge mess! I'm so sorry Connor."

I turned my back and started walking, but then I noticed that he grabbed my arm. I could notice he was shaking. I looked back at him and saw that he had a tear in the corner of his eye.

Connor: "Don't leave. Please don't leave."

I don't know why but tears started falling down my eyes. He then grabbed me and hugged me. It was so comfortable, I could live in there for years. My heart was beating so fast, that I thought it was going to explode like a huge grenade. He then looked up at me (I'm a bit taller than him). I looked down at him.

Connor: "I want to kiss you right now, and I don't know if I can resist you. I just to know if you want it as much as I do."

Me: "Just do it."

And then it happened. I know that we were already at one of the highest places in LA.. but that kiss took me over the sky. I got lost in that kiss. We made out during around 2 minutes. It was not agressive at all. It was passionate. I never had that type of kiss with Lily. It was always small kisses. We didn't make out very often, and when we did, it was never as passionate as this.

Damn, those lips were so freaking good. Did he get ready to kiss me? Because, I didn't. This is sort of embarassing. But I don't care. It's just me and him, kissing in this beautiful Los Angeles sunset. It all felt like a movie. I could listen to "Higher Love" by James Vincent McMorrow in my head. He was probably doing the same. Oh god! What am I thinking?! LILY!

I stopped the make-out session.

Me: "Connor, I'm sorry. I have to go."

He started saying something but I just started running away, so I couldn't hear it.

I started freaking out.

After 3 hours of walking and thinking about what to do, I came to the conclusion that I had to talk to my mum, then I had to talk with Lily and only then I would start talking to Connor again.

I didn't have anything to do, so I decided to watch Connor's videos for the first time. And of course, I called my mum first.

After talking to my mum, I came to the conclusion that I had to break up with Lily. Not because of Connor, but because I don't want to lie to her. I don't love her as I usually did. So I called her.

Me: "I'm so sorry Lily, I hope we can still be friends."

Lily: "You're an asshole. 2 days in LA and you're already breaking up with me?! F*** you, Chris!"

She hanged up.

I had never seen her acting like this. I decided to leave her alone for a while.

After watching around 40 of Connor's videos, I knew what I had to do.

*knock knock*

Connor: "Come in.

I came in.

Connor: "So what do you want to talk about?"

I ran over at him and kissed him like I've never kissed anyone before. He then grabbed me against his body and started kissing me back. While we were making out I totally ruinned his quiff (that "wave" he has in his hair), and freaking god, he looked so hot in that way.

The thing is, I was in love. And I don't know how it all happened in just 2 days. But it did, and I don't wanna let go of him.

*knock knock*

Connor: "Someone just knocked."

Me: "Do you really have to open it?"

Connor: "Of course I do."

He went to open the door. And you will not believe who it was.

Troye (Sivan): "CONNOR! Oh my god, I missed you so much."

Troye hugged him for a few seconds and then gave him a kiss on the cheek.

He then looked over at the bed and saw me. He didn't look very happy.
