Today was February 14. Yup, Valentines day. Me and Dally have been dating since May and throughout those 8 months he has never really done anything cute. I mean, he does but I always have to be the one with the ideas which gets a little old sometimes. I knew being with Dally would be this way. He just never likes to show his real emotions. He has never bought me flowers, wrote me a sweet note or taken me somewhere nice. I don't mind but ot would be nice if he did that once in a while.

Today, like the usual, I decided to go to the Curtis house. I remember when I told my mom about them she flipped. But once she met them, she was a little okay with it.

I decided to wear shorts and one of Dally's shirts. I then braided my hair put a little bit of lipstick. I walked downstairs where my mom was eating a bowl of fruit.

"Where are you going?" My mom asked me.

"I'm going to the curtis house for a bit."

I say as I pick an apple up.

"You're not spending Valentines day with Dally?"

"No, you know how he is with these type of things." I say sounding a little hurt.

"Right. Well, your dad and I are going to diner later, if you want to come you're more than welcome." She says as she smiles at me.

"No, no. It's fine. Tonight is yours and dad's night." I say and kiss her in the cheek.

"I'll see you later mom!"

"Be careful and stay out of trouble!" She yells back at me.

On my way to The Curtis house, I start thinking about how long Dally and I been together and we still haven't said that I love you sentence. Would we ever say it?

I remember this one night when we went to the diner by my house, we were having desert and I could've sworn he almost said I love you. But it didn't happen.

I got to the boys house and knocked on the door. Darry opened the door and greeted me with a hug. These guys have become like family to me ever since I met them.

"Hey (Y/n)?" Pony boy calls me over to the kitchen.

"What's up Pony?" I ask.

"Dally has some things to do later today. Want to go out with Soda, Darry, and I?" He asks me, and suddenly I frown. What does he have to do? Why has he been so busy lately!

"Sure." I smile at them.

Later that night, I was sitting on the couch waiting for the guys to get ready. Johnny, Steve, and Two-bit were out with their girls. Sodapop knew I was mad so he didn't messed with me like he usually does. Once the guys were ready, we all pilled in the car and Darry drove. I didn't know where we were going. It was an unfamiliar path.

But once we got to the place it looked really nice. There was a stream, the grass was nice, there were bushes with roses on them. It was beautiful.

"Guys, what are we doing here?" I ask.

"Hanging out, what else?" Steve says.

We keep on walking until we see a blanket and a picnic basket. The picnic basket was small so I was starting to get suspicious.

"Crap! We forgot some things in the car! Guys come help me, yeah?" Darry says.

"Wait! You guys are leaving me here alone?" I say getting scared.

"It will take a sec, (y/n)." Soda says.

Great.. I was going to be left alone while they take their sweet time getting whatever it is. I soon hear footsteps behind me and I freak out. They started getting closer and closer. I turn around getting ready to punch the person but I soon stop when I see my Dally holding flowers. For me?

"Dally? What are you doing here?" I ask.

"This is for you. This whole picnic thing is to show you how much I care for you. I know I never tell you how I feel and It makes you think if I really fo care abot you. But you're the only one who I think about when I wake up and when I go to sleep. You're the one who I want to spend my whole life with and I'm sorry for giving you so much shit. All I'm saying is that (Y/N), I love you."

As soon as he finishes, I walk up to him and hug him.

"You know how long I been waiting for you to say those words? I love you so much Dally!" I say and kiss him.

The rest of the night was spent with us joking around, eating and making out, pretty much.
