Twilight Town: Ordinary Summer Days and Strange Dreams, Part 2

(Dream)

Xion landed an attack on another strange creature with a Keyblade, while Roxas attacked it with magic attacks and... well, a stick, why a stick... Xion didn't know, before she had a Keyblade of her own, she used magic as her normal attack, however, she couldn't summon her Keyblade anymore, it led her to take longer on missions, getting knocked out by another creature, and being saved by both Roxas and a red-haired male, to later overhearing people saying that there was no room for two Keyblade wielders, Xion was determined to regain her Keyblade to stay alive, and keep Roxas and herself neck-to-neck, to save his life as well, Xion wanted to tell someone, but was afraid of the consequences and kept it to herself, which leaves today, the two were sent to Beast's Castle, their final partner mission, Roxas lent Xion his Keyblade for the day to see if it'd help her re-summon her Keyblade, as of the now, Roxas and Xion had finished fighting the creature.

"nice job, do you wanna try summoning the Keyblade again", Roxas asked as Xion handed the Keyblade back to Roxas, soon after, Xion held out her hand, and after awhile, her Keyblade re-appeared.

"you did it", Roxas said.

"it worked... thank you Roxas", Xion said.

"come on, we should go tell Axel", Roxas stated as Xion nodded her head and both began running out, however, both stopped when they heard music, investigating, they peeked through a door, through the door was a large ballroom, Belle and Beast were dancing.

"why don't we try dancing", Roxas said, holding out his hand

"Roxas... we can't dance", Xion stated

"doesn't hurt to try though", Roxas said, Xion then grabbed Roxas' hand and both began to dance, both failed... miserably, but later found a rhythm, and both had fun

"hey, Xion, can I ask you something", Roxas asked

"you just did", Xion teased

"you know what I mean... but I have something to say... Xion, throughout the times we were partnered up together, we had each others backs", Roxas explained, "we've helped each other out, although we're going to be going solo after this, I don't want us too... I mean... what I'm trying to say is that... I like you Xion, more than a friend",

"Roxas, I like you too, more than a friend as well", Xion stated, hugging Roxas, Roxas hugging her back.

Xion woke up and got ready for the day, the Struggle tournament was today, yet... the dream was currently on her mind, pushing it aside, she finished getting ready and ran out towards the Sandlot where the Struggle match was being held, Hayner, Pence, Olette, and Roxas stood there, watching and waiting for the matches to be announced, Xion then approached the group as then the first match was announced, Hayner vs. Roxas, the two were given balls and bats, then, the match began, Hayner lost, the next match was then revealed, Seifer vs, Vivi, however, something weird happened and Seifer lost, the next match was then announced, Xion Vs. Vivi.

"thats not Vivi", Seifer said which made the group confused, Vivi looked liked a normal person, Seifer then left as the third battle was about to begin

"hey, if what Seifer said is true, be careful out there", Roxas stated as Xion nodded her head, and then the third match began, it was a close match, right before Xion could land the final hit, everything froze, Roxas, Xion, and Vivi were the only ones unfrozen, Vivi then changed into a creature

"what the", Xion said, more creatures coming in, Roxas came in, both he and Xion back to back, then, suddenly, Keyblades appeared in their hands, both were surprised, but pushed it past and began fighting the mysterious creatures, as they were all defeated, a clapping sound was heard, turning around, they saw a hooded figure

"Roxas, Xion, all right, fight, fight, fight", the mysterious man said which made the two look at him confused

"you two really don't remember", the man said, taking off his hood, he had spiky red hair and marks under his eyes, "it's me, you know, Axel",

"Axel", Roxas asked, both he and Xion looking at eachother

"talk about blank with a capital B, man, oh man, even the Dusks aren't gonna crack this one", Axel stated, two weapons appearing in his hands

"wait, tell us what's going on", Xion asked

"this town is his creation, right, which means we don't have time for a Q and A, you two are coming with me, conscious or not, then you'll hear the story", Axel stated once again, the area around the three began to warp which made Axel alarmed

"number's 13 and 14, Roxas and Xion, the Keyblades chosen ones", Axel said as he began to attack, Roxas and Xion, Axel landed a couple hits on the two, but the majority of hits landed on Axel, not long after, a mysterious man appeared.

"so it was you", Axel said, setting his weapons on fire and threw them at the mysterious man, but didn't hit him

"Roxas, Xion, this man speaks nonsense", the man said

"guys, don't let him decieve you", Axel stated as both began shouting their names which caused the two to hold their heads, soon after, a flash of light appeared, as it died down, the crowd was cheering once again, Roxas was back with the group, Vivi fell down, the win went to Xion, Vivi got back up, having no idea what happened and the two walked off the stage.

"Xion, are you alright", Roxas asked as Xion nodded her head

"I'm alright, confused, but alright", Xion stated

"so that was Axel", Roxas asked

"yeah, from my dreams, he was our friend, yet... he attacked us", Xion stated which made the two confused, then... the semi-final match was announced, Roxas Vs. Xion.

"looks like we're up next, wanna talk about this later", Roxas asked

"yeah, just don't go easy on me during the match, ok", Xion asked as Roxas nodded his head and both walked onto the stage, as the match began, everyone watched the intense fight, it was close, but in the end, Roxas had won the match, not long after, the final came, Roxas emerged victorious as well and was deemed the champion on Struggle, soon after, the group celebrated with some Sea Salt Ice Cream.
