"this place is", Sora began

"Kinda different", Goofy finished as everyone looked around at the world, although used to seeing cartoon characters, this world was a new experience for everyone, not long after, the four began hearing screams

"Organization XIII", Goofy asked

"or the Heartless", Donald asked

"don't know, we're too far away to tell", Kate stated

"only one way to find out", Sora said as everyone began running towards the town, however, before they arrived in town, the four spotted Pete, talking to strange people, Pirates, and the four had been seen.

"see there, I knew it, those are the punks I was tellin' ya about", Pete stated

"who're you calling punks, It's Sora, Kate, Donald, and Goofy to you, and don't you forget it", Sora shouted

"that we won't, and we'll engrave it on your tombstone, to be sure", the Pirate, Barbosa, stated

"whoa, I like your style", Pete commented

"men, half of you stay here and indulge these cullies, the rest, bring me that medallion", Barbosa ordered

"awh, we only get to stomp on a few of you", Sora taunted, Barbosa smirked at the four, knowing that they would have trouble as the four began to fight, as everyone landed a hit on them, their keyblades and weapons went through them, almost as if they were hitting a ghost.

"guy's, something's wrong", Kate shouted

"we can't beat them", Sora stated

"aye, whaddya expect", a pirate sneered as then the moon came out from behind the clouds revealing the pirates to be skeletons which shocked the four, "you best be sayin' your prayers",

"hey, watch out, they can see ya, stay away from their magic", Pete warned

"what for", a pirate asked

"weren't you listenin' to me before", Pete asked as well

"hey Pete, thanks for the tip", Sora said as the fight resumed, this time, their attacks hit the pirates and all were defeated.

"hey, this ain't over", Pete stated as he then ran away

"if Pete's here, then that means there's work to do", Sora said

"yup, and that Pirate captain looked mean too", Goofy stated

"I'd hate to see him turned into a heartless", Kate said

"weren't those pirates heading for town", Sora asked

"yeah, we'd better get there fast", Kate stated as everyone ran off, as they arrived they saw a man, surrounded by heartless, the four immediately ran into battle, telling the man to go hide, once the heartless were gone, the man approached the four.

"well done, my own fencing skills are not to be ashamed of... but I've never faced foes like that before", the man stated

"you really think we're that good", Sora asked

"yes, but I must ask for your help, Elizabeth, she was taken, and I must rescue her, would you help me",  the man asked

"of course, I'm Sora, this is Kate, Donald, and Goofy", Sora said

"and I am William Turner, but call me Will", Will greeted

"okay, Will, let's go", Sora said

"right, we've got to get to the docks", Will said as they then made their way towards the docks, once arriving, everyone saw a black ship leaving the area.
