Hollow Bastion: Reunion with Old Friends

traveling on the gummi ship, the four ended up in a familiar world, Hollow Bastion, however, the world was no longer in ruins, but getting repaired by their friends, walking around the new plaza, many shops were around, especially, Donald's uncle, Scrooge, who was trying to recreate one of his favorite Ice Cream flavors, but failed, walking away from the plaza, something appeared right in front of the four.

"hey, what's going on", Donald asked

"that's the town's defense mechanism", Yuffie stated as the four looked up to see her on a ledge

"Yuffie", both Sora and Kate greeted as they waved towards their friend, however, it was cut short when the nobodies appeared, the town's defenses helped the four out greatly as they fought all the enemies there

"I see you guys are still in top form", Yuffie stated, jumping off the ledge and right in front of them

"what'd you expect, looks like you're doing okay", Sora said

"well, what did you expect", Yuffie asked

"how are the others", Donald asked

"great", Yuffie responded

"hey, Yuffie, have you seen the King and Riku", Kate asked

"nope", Yuffie said, "but I had a feeling I'd see you guys again",

"we may never meet again, but we'll never forget each other", Sora stated, mimicking Squall's voice

"is that supposed to be Squall", Yuffie asked as the four tried to hold in their laughter, but giggles came out, "everyone's working on stuff over at Merlin's house, come on",

the four followed Yuffie towards Merlin's new house, it was different than the one they remembered in Traverse Town, but nonetheless, everyone entered the house and saw Cid, typing away on a computer, Squall and Aerith, observing.

"meet the Hollow Bastion Restoration Committee", Yuffie stated as the three turned around so see everyone.

"we missed you", Aerith said

"well, if you ain't in top shape", Cid said

"I knew it", Squall said

"knew what", Sora asked

"a while back, everyone suddenly remembered you guys, all at the same time", Squall stated which made the four shocked

"you... remembered... you guys forgot about us", Kate stated in a playful tone

"so, where've you guys been all this time", Yuffie asked

"we were sleeping", Goofy stated

"where, in cold storage", Cid asked, but the four couldn't answer his question

"it doesn't matter, this is great, everyone's together again", Aerith stated

"so, um... we're trying to find Riku and the King, have you seen 'em", Sora asked but the four shook their heads

"sorry, but let us know if there's anything we can do to help, okay", Aerith asked

"okay, thanks", Sora said

"don't go thankin' us just yet", Cid stated

"Hollow Bastion's got a problem, a big problem", Squall said

"you mean, like Nobodies, and Heartless", Kate asked

"that's right", Yuffie said

"sounds like you could use our help", Sora stated

"then let's cut to the chase, Sora, Kate, Donald, Goofy, we were hoping the four of you might give us a hand around here", Squall said

"like we're gonna say no", Sora stated once again which made Squall chuckle

"I forgot who I'm dealing with", Squall said

"hey... what do you mean by that", Donald asked

"just think of it as a sort of compliment", Aerith said

"follow me, there's something you need to see", Squall stated as he left Merlin's house, the four following behind, as they reached an overlook point, looking out beyond, they saw patrolling Nobodies and an army of Heartless near what looked to be of a base

"so, you know what's going on", Squall asked

"there's this guy, Pete, who's been going around plotting with the Heartless", Sora stated

"however, he's not smart enough", Kate said

"yeah, the one's we need to worry about are the Nobodies", Sora stated once again

"and those Organization XIII guys in charge, too", Goofy added as then, many Nobodies emerged, Organization XIII seemed to have been eavesdropping in on their conversation, once all the Nobodies were defeated, laughter was heard

"show yourselves", Sora shouted as then a Dark Corridor appeared and a hooded figure walked out,, the hooded figure raised his arms as more Dark Corridors appeared, alongside more hooded figures.

"Organization XIII", Goofy said

"good, now we can settle this", Sora stated

"what a shame, and here I thought we could be friends", the hooded figure said as then he and his friends disappeared

"nuts, they got away", Donald said

"maybe, they were trying to confuse us", Goofy stated

"I'm not sure, but we should be cautious as we go forward", Kate stated

"yeah, other worlds are calling", Sora stated

"be careful out there", Squall said as the four nodded their heads and took of on the Gummi Ship, towards the next world.
