The Land of Dragons: Be A Man

(A/n- happy late new year everyone, 2020s behind us now, hopefully 2021 will be better)

landing in an unfamiliar world, the four began to look around and saw an ominous figure and a boy who seemed terrified at the sight

"a heartless", Donald asked in a quiet voice

"let's get the jump on 'im", Sora stated

"gawrsh, maybe we better look before we leap", Goofy said but Sora and Donald didn't listen as the two jumped out, the boy panicked and crouched down, a small red creature jumping out from the rocks and to the boy

"wait... Mushu", Kate said

"that's right, I know you heard of me, I'm little, lethal, and legendary, now y'all scram before I get my dragon dander up", Mushu stated

"hey, Mushu, we missed you", Sora said

"well you better hope I miss you, or else you're...", Mushu said then took a good look at the four, "Sora, Kate, Donald, Goofy",

"do you know them", the boy asked

"know them, man, we used to kick all kinds of bad guy butt together", Mushu stated, "yeah, you know, I helped these guys out of a lot of tight spots, cause I'm a mighty dragon, right",

"something like that... and you are", Sora asked as the boy stood up

"I'm Mulan... um, no, I-I mean", he said, voice becoming a bit man like

"Ping", Mushu corrected

"Mulan Ping", Donald said, crossing his arms

"just... Ping, I am Ping, son of Fa Zhou", Ping said

"you know Mushu", Sora asked

"Mushu's one of my family guardians", Ping said

"we didn't know we were borrowin' somebody as important as a family guardian", Goofy said

"yeah, that's right, and that put's you four up to your eyeballs in debt to Ping here", Mushu stated, "well guess what, kiddies, it's payback time, see, Ping here was just on his way to joining the Imperial army, we gotta go find the other recruits at the training camp",

"would you join us, it'd be easier to fit in with guys like you", Ping asked

"you're pretending to be a boy aren't you", Goofy asked which made both Sora and Donald shocked

"you're a girl", Sora asked

"you didn't notice", Ping said which the two shook their heads

"however, we have a tiny problem here, men are allowed in the army, Kate can't come with us", Mushu stated

"but... why not", Kate asked

"penalty is death, that's what's making me nervous about joining", Ping said which made everyone shocked

"it looks like you'll have to wait back at the ship", Donald said

"alright, you guys go on ahead, be careful", Kate said, as then the others began walking towards the camp area.

"no way I'm waiting in the ship", Kate thought as she looked around and saw some spare armor lying around, Kate sighed, "I don't really wanna do this, but at least I can wear this over my clothes",

as Kate put the armor on, she also tied up her hair and spoke out in a lower tone of voice, soon after, she began walking towards the camp, to hopefully catch up with the others, as she entered the camp, she felt a bit uncomfortable around the place.
