Twilight Town: A Summer's End

(Dream)

Xion sat on her bed, deep in thought on her next move, only two options came to mind, stay or run, any other option wouldn't have a good outcome either, she knew that she was deep down in the deep end, Roxas was able to dual wield another Keyblade, and the Organization found out about this, the small war the Organization put them in unknowingly came to a close, she lost, and soon would be terminated.

"I only have one option now, will I make it", Xion thought to herself as she got up off her bed, looking out the window where a giant golden heart loomed over the castle, it was only a matter of time before Kingdom Hearts would be completed, yet they still have a long way to go

"just hang on, I'll come back and set you free, I promise", Xion mumbled to herself as she then left her room, walking around the castle, she saw the other members either lounging around or talking amongst each other, the other half were out on missions, she knew that Roxas and Axel were out, but sadly, she couldn't wait for them.

"I'm sorry, Roxas", Xion said sadly as she ran away and out of the castle

(Dream Over)

Xion sat up from bed, feeling tears in her eyes, she quickly wiped them away, looking outside, it was early, but not too early in the morning, Xion then got up and out of bed and got dressed, then left her house, walking down the street, she reached Roxas' house, grabbing some small rocks, she began throwing them at his window, soon after, Roxas opened the window.

"Xion, it's too early", Roxas whined in a playful manner

"sorry", Xion said, looking down to the ground

"hey... is everything ok", Roxas asked as Xion shook her head

"what's wrong", Roxas asked, concern in his voice

"could you come down", Xion asked

"give me a few minutes", Roxas said, closing his window, Xion then leaned up against the wall, many thought's filled her head, the strange dreams, the encounter with Axel, it was just too much for her, not long after, Roxas came out from his house

"hey... you ok", Roxas asked in a gentle voice, Xion shook her head once again and slid down to the ground, Roxas soon sat down by her

"tell me what's wrong", Roxas asked in a gentle tone

"the encounter with... Axel, my strange dreams, my memories, Keyblades, the more I think about it, something doesn't add up", Xion explained

"I agree, the guy... Axel, he called us number's 13 and 14, in your dreams, you said that you were introduced as Number 14", Roxas stated, "I don't know what's going on, but... I want answers",

"so do I, but where do we start looking", Xion asked as then Dusks appeared, causing both Roxas and Xion to stand up as Axel appeared from a black and purple portal, one seen in Xion's dreams.

"look at what it's come to, I've been given these icky orders to destroy you both, if you refuse to come back with me", Axel explained

"we're... best friends, right", Roxas asked

"sure... but I'm not getting turned into a Dusk for...", Axel said, then widened his eyes, "wait a sec, you remember now",

"yeah", Roxas said, a bit uneasy about his answer

"great, but you know, gotta make sure and all, so, umm... what's our boss's name", Axel asked

"we... don't know, the only one we know of is you", Xion replied, a bit uneasy

"can't believe this", Axel sighed, the Dusks began moving in, Keyblades appeared in Roxas and Xion's hands as both began fighting the dusks, which was an easy battle, soon enough, it was only Axel, he had his weapons out, right before he could attack, he froze in place.
