leaving Ansem's Lab, and running outside to the castle's entrance, the four saw the army of heartless and nobodies, they've infiltrated Hollow Bastion, running towards the battlefield the four saw Squall and Aerith fighting, before they could help, a group of nobodies ambushed the four, although the group seemed endless, they were soon defeated.
"the king's in the bailey, you better head over there", Squall shouted
"got it", Sora shouted back as the four rushed over towards the bailey, Squall rushing towards the fight, as the four neared the bailey, their shock when they found it completely destroyed, a path seen, which would lead them towards the center of the battlefield where the heartless marched forward, the other's were down there, trying to keep them at bay, even Stitch was down there, helping the other's out, as they began to run down to help the others, Mickey dropped down in front of everyone.
"okay, fellas, you've gotta go find Riku and Kairi", Mickey said
"but Squall and the others are friends too", Sora stated
"don't worry, there's already lotsa help here, we'll take care of this fight", Mickey said, "Donald, Goofy, take Sora and Kate and get goin'",
"Sis, Riku... give us a little more time, okay", Kate muttered, turning towards Sora, Donald, and Goofy who nodded their heads
"your majesty", Donald announced
"we understand, we'll go search for Riku and Kairi", Goofy stated
"right, watch for danger", Mickey warned
"you be careful, too", Donald stated
"come on, let's get going", Sora said
"yeah", Kate said
"then let's go", Donald stated as the four ran past Mickey and into the battlefield, much to Mickey's surprise
"I'm sorry, your Majesty", Sora shouted
"I hope you can forgive us", Goofy shouted as well as they continued running towards the battlefield, only to be stopped by Demyx, which the four then battled, although tough, the four managed to defeat him, Demyx then began to fade out until he vanished, perminately.
"anyone from the Organization who'd like to be next", Sora shouted in anger
"hey, Sora, don't antagonize them", Donald stated
"yeah, we gotta help our friends first", Goofy said
"Sorry", Sora said
"come on, the heartless army could reach here anytime now", Kate stated, right before anyone could take a step forward.
"aha, there you are", Mickey stated, by his look, he was angry
"Mickey, we're sorry we...", Kate began, but Mickey held up his hand, making her stop talking, Mickey then calmed down
"you sure have lotsa friends to help, so, I guess we better all pull together and finish this battle for good", Mickey stated
"yes, your majesty", the four said in unison as Mickey began walking forward, not long after, an explosion rang out, which rent a giant rock hurdling towards Mickey
"Look out", Goofy shouted, running towards Mickey and shoving him out of the way as the rock hit Goofy's head, which sent him flying back and hitting the wall,
"Goofy", Sora shouted as Sora, Kate, Donald, and Mickey ran towards him
"no", Mickey mumbled in sadness
"hey, you're the King's Captain, you gotta get up", Donald stated, trying to shake Goofy awake, but Goofy lied there motionless
"come on, Goofy", Kate pleaded
