Chapter 19- how he got hurt

Raced paced around the room as I described what Jack had done to me. His breathing became slower and deeper and he stopped before the wall. He raised his right arm and smashed it into the mirror, breaking the glass and cutting his hand. I lept up from the bed next to him to see his eyes tearful and his hand bleeding.

'Reece' I said so quietly i couldn hardly even hear myself

'I'm sorry reece' I regretted telling him now, this wasn't helping anything

'I should have been there to protect you' He whimpered quietly. 

'No reece, this isn't your fault, i'm okay honestly' i mumbled as I stroked his hair

I took his undamaged hand gently and led him to the bathroom and sat him down on the side of the bath. I rumaged the cupboard for the first aid kit and reapproached him quickly, slipping inbetween his legs to look at his hand. 

He flinched a little as I tenderly dabbed hit cuts and removed any glass. I wrapped it tightly with a bandage. I only made eye contact with him when I had to, scared of what emotion I might see behind his usually innocent eyes.

'Rae, are you okay?' he asked me in a surprisingly soft tone

'Yeah why?' I asked back smiling, even when he's hurt he's thinking of me

'Because I never even asked after you told me everything, I'm sorry' he replied looking down 

'Reece it's fine, im fine, we're fine, it's ok' I said dragging on a bit

Reece squeezed my hand, looked into my eyes and leaned in gently. We shared a passionate soft kiss. He put his hands on the small of my back softly, he was being so soft, as if i was about to break.

He brought me out into the living room where all the boys were sat. They looked at us but said nothing as we walked in. 

'We're fine' I said laughing and breaking the tension

The boys sighed with relief. James cuddled me into his side.

'Let's go for pizza?' Jake asked 

we all agreed and got up to go.

right ok i haven't been updating because i really just don't know what to do next..any ideas?? please please leave them in the comments, i promise i'll start updating more regularly, I'm just having a bit of writers block.
