Chapter 11 - how i realised what i wanted

We went back to house and finally ate chris' breakfast. It was really good. Chris smiled at us as we ate it. 

When we'd finished we went upstairs to my bedroom. Reece tackled me onto my bed right as we walked in. He did it gently enough and I landed in my sea of pillows. He started to tickle me and i squeeled a bit. I hated/loved being tickled. We layed for so long next to each other in silence until he pinned me down and looked down at my lips. He then slowly lent down and kissed me so lightly i barely felt it. Before we could do anything else we heard footsteps coming up the stairs and James came into the room. We both sat awkwardly at end of my bed pretending nothing happened.

'Guys we're going to the pictures, do you want to come? we're going to watch the new planet of the apes im so excited omg' james squeeled like a proper fangirl

we looked at each other and laughed 'Yeah we'll down in a minute' Reece replied

James ran back down the stairs, that boy made me laugh.

I walked over to my closet to pick out what I was going to wear and Reece came up behind me

'Wear this' he said pulling out my oasis top. I smiled at him, of course he'd pick that. It was blue so I paired it with my white jeans. Reece walked back out to the bed so i quickly took off my top and sweats to change

'rae do you think we should..' he said walking back

'oh sorry' he said gawking at me in my underwear, I blushed and quickly put on my jeans. I expected him to walk away but he literally just stood there staring at me, jaw dropped a little. I pulled the top over my chest and walked over to him.

'You ok?' I asked laughing as he was still staring at me

'You're so beautiful oh my god' 

'you're mental let's go' I replied and picked up my white bag

Reece made a quick stop to his room and slipped into some black jeans and a grey sweatshirt. He'd also put on some cologne. 

When James was finally finished fiddling with his hair we finally left and piled into the 2 cars, Chet was coming as well so it was really full. I'd missed chet, it was nice catching up with him in the carride there with casey, jake and chris. 

The carride was longer than usual because there was a crash and so much traffic, I was scared we'd miss the film which started at 4.45 but it was okay in the end and besides, we laughed so much the whole carride, it was such a good mix of people. When we got to the pictures, we all got our tickets and popcorn and walked to our seats. I was next to case and right when reece was going to sit on the other side of me, Jake took his place.

When the film started it was okay but there were some parts that kind of frightened me, I loved scary films but I was still a chicken. At one point I turned in the direction of jake and he smiled. He grabbed my hand and lifted up the armrest so i could collapse into his chest. Jake held onto me tight, I wasn't so scared anymore. 

When the movie finished we walked out and decided to head to nandos for dinner. When we got in Jake bolted to the seat next to me. Reece looked over kind of annoyed but just walked around to sit on the other side of me. 

'Hi babe' He said kissing my cheek. I smiled at him. I felt like I was starting to fall for him a little. 

Dinner was funny, we were all getting along great, I don't think i'd ever laughed that much in my life. 

suddenly my phone buzzed 

Jack: when am i seeing u again babe? xx

i paused before replying, what was I going to do? I know that me and reece are like exclusive now but I thought of the situation in reverse, imagine if he had sex with me and I tried messaging him but he wasn't interested, i'd feel so used?

Rae: idk what you have in mind? x

'Who you texting' Charlie asked from across the table

'Just my mum' I lied knowing reece was listening

'Is your mum that funny?' charlie continued

I looked at him confused, 'i've never smiled like that while texting my mum babe' he said laughing taking a sip of his coke

shit he knew, Reece looked at me but I just smiled, my phone buzzed again but I just put it back into my bag not wanting to cause any drama. 

when we got back to the house some of the boys started playing fifa, I walked into the kitchen with chris to get some water. 'So how are you and reece?' he asked quietly

'What do you mean??' I replied pretending to not know anything

'Don't even try, It's so obvious' he replied laughing a little

I hit him on the shoulder. 'Does casey know?' I asked

'Yeah of course' he said to my surprise, why hadn't he talked to me about it then? me and case usually share everything

I grabbed a coke from the fridge and walked into the living room and sat next to jake. He was currently beating james 4-3.

After the game was finished and Jake had won he looked over to me 'come with me a minute Rae, I have something for you' he grabbed my hand and got up

Reece watched us walk out of the room together, i could tell he was so angry. Jake led me to his room and walked over to backpack and began rumaging through it to find something. I went over and sat on his bed patiently. what was he looking for? soon enough he came and sat next to me holding a small box that was wrapped. He handed me it

'I just got you something for being a good friend' I took it out of his hands, smiling. I unwrapped it to find a necklace in the shape of a hollow heart a J&R was put in the middle with little bars on the side attaching it to the heart. It was so beautiful. 

'just so you always have me near you' he said taking the necklace off me and putting it around my neck. I felt so happy. I looked at him in the eyes, wanting to find words to thank him when he suddenly crashed his lips onto mine. At first I didn't stop it and even kissed him back a little but after a few moments I pushed him off. 

'what are you doing jake, we're friends' i said giving him a weak smile, holding my hand on his chest to keep the distance

'I like you rae and..'

'I like you too but we're friends jake? we don't want to jepordize that' 

'I would risk it for you rae' he said, with that he leaned in and kissed me again, he layed me on my back and climbed over me. This wasn't what I wanted and it was starting to annoy me now, I said no

'Jake get off,' I said between soft unwanted kisses

'JAKE' i said again when he started to get more agressive and before i knew it reece had pulled him off and had begun to punch him repeatedly

'REECE STOP' I yelled before pushing him off jake, barclay and chris rushed in and dragged Reece out, closing the door behind them. I ran up and locked it, to make sure reece wouldn't get back in.

I knelt down beside jake and put his head on my lap. 'Jake are you ok?' I said crying a little

He groaned. I helped him up into his bathroom and gently cleaned his cuts. 'Jake i'm so sorry' I said, I felt so guilty. This was the second time someone had gotten hurt because of me.

Jake grabbed my ass and pulled me in and then moved to my waist and held on tightly. 

'it's not your fault lovely' He said breathing deeply, he kissed me gently on my cheek and got up and left. 

I ran up to my room as quick as I could and closed the door and fell down against it sobbing, I didn't want anyone to see me like this but I was hurt as well.
