Chapter 15 - how we 'cooked'

'How did you..'

'please rae, as if it isnt obvious' barclay said laughing, hugging me tight

I smiled at reece, I wasn't worried about Barclay. He knew basically everything about me anyway. 

The three of us shuffled down the kitchen and joined tom and jake at the table. 

'What are eating tonight?' Tom asked looking hungry

'i'm sick of take-out can we cook?' jake asked hopefully

we all burst out laughing. Jake cooking. That would be something.

'Let me and rae cook' reece said to jake patting him on the shoulder, kind of condescendingly 

Jake shook off his hand and left the room. 

'ONLY BANTER JAKE' i yelled after him

'I know' he said before climbing up the stairs. 

'Right well I'm going to go pick up casey and the other boys from the shopping center, will you get dinner started?' tom said

We nodded and he left, making jake go with him for the ride. 

Me and Reece looked around and started pulling out ingredients. I pushed myself onto the counter-top and sat there watching him. He was so beautiful. He passed me and I grabbed his waist and pulled him in for a hug. His arms gripped around me tight. 

I paced over to the cupboard and then to the fridge and back

'What are you looking for?' he asked laughing at me

'The cucumbers where did I put them?' I asked worried

Reece smiled and lifted up the pile of cucumbers behind him. I sighed a little and walked over to him. He was about to give them to me when he lifted them up so high I couldn't reach. 

'reece!! give them to me i hate you' I said trying to grab hold of them

He smiled, 'you're cute when you're mad you know' he said smiling down at me

I sighed at him and lightly hit him in the stomach. He put the cucumbers down next to him and lifted me onto the countertop. He slid in between my legs and came close to my face. 

'Now don't I get a kiss for finding them?' he said smirking at me

I smiled and pulled him in slowly, I could feel his breath on my lips but right before our lips touched, I slid past him and ran away, laughing.

I heard him groan 'RAE YOU TEASE' he said running after me

I reached my room and dived under my cover. I heard him come up, his steps slowing

'Rae where are you for fucks sake' he said laughing 

I said nothing. I heard him walk slowly towards me and then slowly back. He hadn't found me.

Then out of nowhere he pulled off the covers and pounced on me. I squealed. 

He pinned both my hands next to my head and said 'Now, how about that kiss?' 

I scrunched up my nose, pretending the thought of kissing him was disgusting. He shook his head and began to lean down. His lips slowly connected with mine, ever so softly. His grip released from my wrists and i reached up and put my hands around his kneck. The kisses became more passionate and his hands began to roam my body. he tickled my belly and I laughed a bit and then went back to kissing him

suddenly we heard a voice

'what's this?' Casey asked
