It's been at least 2 years since Sebastian's death, and I've been managing well. I go to his grave at least every week, and sometimes I brought Xavier along with me. I've introduced the two and now he comes with me all the time.

He's also gotten fond of black coffee so he's always taking sips from Sebastian's share, no matter how much I threaten him.

Xavier tells me that by the way I describe Sebastian he must've been a very good person.

He must be really stupid to notice that now.

Oh yeah, I also released Sil from prison and she was SO ticked. I got lucky with a bruise on my cheek but she said:

"'Next time you're on your period, tell me beforehand so I don't say anything bad!'"

Alicia and I, of course, never got into a fight. She finally told Sebastian she loved him on his birthday last year and gave him a ring.

Sweet but tragic, I know.

And guess what?

Silvia got married.

It's weird how much happens in two years.

Apparently she met this enemy sniper and made a deal or whatnot and now 2 years later, she and the guy got married. His name's Antonio, and he's a cool guy.

Everyone's growing up.

Okay, moving on.

I was in my room, laying on my bed staring at the ceiling. I was alone because Xavier had decided to accompany Diagr into the market.

To buy coffee, obviously.

There was a knock on my door and I sit up. "Who is it?" I call.

"It's your dad."

I break into a smile and wave my hand to open the lock. "Come in!"

Dad comes in, dressed in a suit as usual. "How are you doing, son?" he asks.

I smile. "I'm fine I guess."

"Where's Xavier?" he asks.

"In the market with Diagr to buy some coffee," I answer.

Dad had gotten used to Xavier always being at my side and when he discovered that Xavier was good at poker, he challenged him.

The score now?

174-176. Xavier still wins.

I'm more surprised that my dad actually knows how to play poker, especially since he's usually busy all the time.

Dad ruffles my head. "You see better," he comments.

I smile. "Dad, do you wanna go visit Sebastian with me?"

His lazy and carefree expression immediately changes into a mask. "Rowan, I'm only going to say this once, and only once."

I frown. "What?"

"For the next month, do not take a step outside."

I frown. "Why?"

He grasps my hands. "Listen, Rowan, I can't say much, but please, please, please don't go outside for the next month."

I wince, since his grip is tight. "Dad, th-that hurts. Let go."

He lets go in a hurry but stares into my eyes. "Promise me, Rowan. Don't go outside for the next month."

I nod hesitantly. "Yeah. Okay."

He smiles, pleased with my answer. "That's all I wanted to say," Dad says. "Promise me, okay?"

"I promise."
