Harleys POV
"Hey Jimmy." He turned his head with a smile to find me taking a quick jog to catch up with him as we headed to the pitch for practice.
"Hi Harley. Whats up?"
"I was just thinking that since we are both beaters that we should start working together more often because the better we know each other the better we will play on the field." I spoke with a smile hoping that he wouldn't think that it was anything more than something to do as friends so we could play better.
"Sure. That would probably be helpful and good for the team. Got any ideas?"
"Not quite sure just figured that we could go over some quidditch plays together that would make it easier for us to know where the other is." I started to ramble trying to get out my thoughts that always ran a mile a minute.
"We could just talk in the common room tonight and then we could go to the library once in a while or something."
"Yeah sure that works." We continued to walk to the pitch with the rest of the team chatting about this years season. Harry and Ginny stopped abruptly which caused me to fall. I looked from the ground to see what happened and I quickly found the Slytherin quidditch team standing in front of us. I found Bini chuckling probably noticing that I was on the ground.
I felt someone's arm wrap around my waist helping me up and I turned to find my beater teammate Jimmy. I smiled as I grabbed his hand trying to use that instead of his entire arm. His arm wrapped around my waist made me feel uncomfortable.
I looked back to Bini hoping that he wouldn't mock me for needing some guy to help me up off the ground. Instead of finding his normal sarcastic eyes I found ones that were angry.
"Get out of the way Malfoy." Harry said firmly with so much anger in his tone I thought Ginny was gonna have to hold him back. But then again she wouldn't hold him back because she too wanted to pummel him. And in all honesty so did I.
"What are you going to do Pottah?" He always emphasized the er of Potter making it sound weird. I rolled my eyes hoping we could just move on and get to practice.
"What are you going to do cry to your father?" Ginny laughed making me chuckle behind her.
"Shut up blood traitor." He snarled.
"Oh fuck off Malfoy. We have the pitch reserved for practice now so would you just move." I blurted out not remembering thinking the words before they left my mouth. I looked over to Bini who was now doing a very good job of trying to hide a smile.
"I can't believe your even on the team Vixen, you spend more time with Slytherins than you do your own house."
"No I spend my time with my best friend who happens to be a Slytherin. What are you going to say about her that she spends to much time with us Gryffindors? Oh wait no you spend to much time drooling over her to actually speak to her." I could tell I hit a nerve that no one ever touches. He stood straighter and his lips were formed into a line. Not to mention is cheeks were redder than normal.
He probably knows now that I know he has liked her in the past. Maybe still does. With that kiss I assume he does but Draco is a confusing person that I have tried not to figure out.
I smiled before giving Ginny a gentle push telling her to go around them. I could hear everyone on the Gryffindor team laughing to hard to pay attention on anything the other Slytherins were saying.
My shoulder hit Bini's as I walked past them and I turned to find him shaking his head at me. Not being like fuck off your annoying but more as if saying that I need to watch my words around Malfoy. Which I didn't care what I said to Malfoy. He's a jerk.
