Harley's POV

"You want to stage a break up?" He asked looking down at me. My hand was still holding onto his arm while his hand held mine.

"Is us being together really putting you in that much danger?" I didn't think about it until Draco pointed it out that him being forced to be on a different side might get him into trouble. We don't see things as black and white but the rest of the world does and that's what can hurt him.

"You can't listen to Draco, Ace."

"But he's right. I can get you into trouble. If he finds out he'll hurt you."

Blaise's POV

It's not me I'm worried about. They could hurt her for something as stupid as her giving me attention making me not spend my entire time helping them. They would hurt her to get to me and that is something that I have been avoided thinking about because when I do my dream comes flooding back. My Ace being held by a death eater a wand at her throat and forcing me to hurt her physically or allow him to and there is no other option.

"Stop." I grabbed her arms looking down at her closely. "Its not me that would be put into danger. You being with me can put you in a lot of danger and I have been pretending that it wont but I know that it can."

"Then why can't we go back to pretending? Everything is perfect when you pretend the world isn't about to be in a war. Everything is perfect when we are dreaming."

"Because Draco decided to point out the reality which I have never wanted to push away more but its happening very soon and we need to figure out how to do this if we want to keep trying." Her eyes were sad and glistening in the moon light. She looked so perfect yet so broken and all I can hope is that I can help fix her but I'm guessing that I will break her more. "Do you want to keep trying?"

"I don't think I will ever want to stop but I have to know that if you are with me will I put you in a position that will get you hurt?" The only position she can put me in that can get me hurt is if she says that we're done and right now its looking like that is a possibility.

"No."

"K." I could barely hear her speak. I grabbed her face pulling her close kissing her like it might be our last. She wasn't expecting me to and she backed up for a second before leaning back in.

Our lips fit perfectly together and our kisses could make time stop. Nothing bad was happening when I was with her, just her, only us together away from the world, away from our parents, this war, the school. If it were up to me we would move to wherever she wanted to in the middle of nowhere with our own cottage or castle. The only people who would know where we were, would be Lane and Theo and if it was extremely important to her the Weasley girl.

She pulled away keeping her forehead against mine with my hands still wrapped around her face. Her arms were wrapped around my torso in my jacket. We could still hear the music out here and peoples cheers but it was muffled and the moon was shining just perfectly on her.

"Cold?"

"Very." She giggled.

"Do you want my jacket?" She nodded while I took it off wrapping her in it. I kissed her soflty while holding her by the jacket. "Want to dance?"

"Sure." She grabbed my hand ready to go inside. "How about out here?" I wanted it to be just her and I for a little while longer.

Her smile became wider and she grabbed my hand firmly before putting one hand on my shoulder while the other one was laced with my fingers. I pulled her close by her waist and began dancing as I have been taught. The song was slower so it felt the best fitting. "You really can dance Mr. Bini." She giggled looking up at me with her bright blue eyes.
