Harley's POV
I walked through the filled hallways in my practice uniform with my broom at my side. The sun was shining brightly and there was just enough of a breeze that it wasn't to hot. It was actually a beautiful and perfect day. Well it was until I ran into a certain Mr. Bini.
"Get out of my way Bini I have to be somewhere." I glared as he stepped in front of me with his usual smirk.
"I don't think you have to be there. Technically you just want to be there and why are you even trying anyways?" He rolled his eyes.
"Because the twins are gone and I have been a beater for the team since 4th year." I tried to sound like a smart ass.
"You don't have the guts to be a beater. You do realize you actually have to hit the bludger at someone right?"
"Well if your the person I have to hit it at I don't think I'm gonna have much of a problem." I smirked before stepping past him and continuing to walk to the pitch.
"You need to learn to not leave in the middle of a conversation." He yelled.
"And you need to learn that I don't waist my time with dicks like you." I turned back around smiling before flirtatiously waving goodbye and continuing to walk to the pitch with a little pep in my step.
"Harley wait up." I heard a familiar voice yell from behind me on my right as I was crossing the grass. I turned to find the red headed girl who was in the same clothing as me but with a different number. Mine was a 13 while hers was a 6.
"Afternoon Ginny." I happily greeted her as she stepped to my side
"Are you ready for try-outs? I'm really excited and weirdly not nervous."
"Yeah because next to Harry and Oliver your the best quidditch player Hogwarts has seen in a while. But yes I am ready I'm not to nervous though."
"That's good and Thank you."
"Your welcome. I've been wrapping my brain trying to figure out who the other beater would be. I know I don't officially have a spot yet but I've talked with Harry and it looks like I basically have a spot."
"Yeah it's been settled that you have a spot since the twins are gone and you had already been playing that position and I'm not quite sure either."
"Isn't Jimmy trying out? Maybe it will be him."
"I think he's got a good chance." We arrived to the quidditch pitch and I walked up to Ron who looked like he was going to vomit from nerves while Ginny walked over to Harry.
"Hey Ron." I greeted him excitedly with a grin.
"Oh hi Harley." His voice was shaky
"Try not to be nervous it will effect your playing. Try to pretend your back home and just playing in the field." I tried to calm him down.
"Yeah... yeah okay. Thanks." He spoke softly while turning back to his broom fidgeting while trying to listen to what I said. He looked up to the bleachers for a second and when I saw a smile creep through his lips I followed his glance and found a blushing Hermione who was giving him a kind wave.
"Well hello there Harley." I felt someone grab my shoulder while stepping closer to me. I cringed at there words and tried to step away but they kept there hand on my shoulder. I turned to find Mclaggen. I internally gagged and punched him but I knew I needed to be nice at least until try outs were done.
Blaises POV
I followed Ace down to the quidditch pitch to watch the Gryffindor Try-outs. There's no way Potter could keep it well under control and I found that watching him fail at captain was a better option then listening to the angry Malfoy or his puppies ranting. When I got down there I tried to stay hidden at the bottom of one of the stands that way no one could see me. I didn't feel like dealing with golden boy trying to scream at me for spying on there team.
