"I'm alright, he clipped me, thats all," he lifted the sheet to show the bandages around his chest area.

"B...but you weren't moving, I thought you were dead!" I was so confused, he looked dead, and now here he is, alive and breathing.

"I wanted to make him think I was dead so he didn't actually kill me, other than that come give me a hug," He smiled, I walked over to him and lightly hugged him. For some reason, he held the hug a bit longer than suspected, but I'll just let it go.

"I never got to ask, when I was stabbed by that girl, how long was I out?" I asked, moving one of the metal hospital chairs by his bed side.

"4 months," He said, I shuddered remembering the pain I had endured when I woke up. I had 10 stitches, and they'll be in for a few more weeks.

I stared at the floor, mind going in the direction of Oscar, why would he do this to me? Shooting my best friend? I hate him, I sincerely hate him.

"Are you thinking about him?" He asked, I nodded in reply." Listen Cupcake, I'm not going to tell you what to do, but do you really think you should be hanging out with him? I mean, look at what he had done."

"I..." I realized I hadn't told him about how I had met Oscar. It wasn't five seconds later and I was spilling my guts, tears shedding from my eyes. I didn't know if I should have really told him all of this, but I couldn't keep these things bottled in, if I did, I would end up being crazy.

"Oh, wow... Gio take my keys and drive my truck home, you need rest," He said rubbing his thumb on my cheek to wipe away the tears.

I nodded and got up from my seat, "Thank you," I gave him one last hug and a kiss on the cheek.

"Goodnight Cupcake," he said, he turned to the side that wasn't hurting signaling it was time for me to go.

I walked out of the hospital and clicked the unlock button on the keychain. Looking around to see which cars head lights blinked. I caught my sight on a black range rover, no way. My eyes widened when I pressed the unlocked button again in disbelief. I jumped up and down in happiness, pretty sure I was squeaking too.

I scanned the parking lot one more time before I proceded walking to the truck, that was until I saw a familiar black mustang across the lot. I fumbled with the keys, trying to hurry, hoping if Oscar was here, he wouldn't see me.

With just my luck I heard a familiar voice from behind me, "Where do you think you're going?"

"Home," I replied, loud and clear hoping he would get the message that I didn't wanna chat with him. I could hear his heavy footsteps behind me, once I reached the truck, I grabbed the handle and opened it. But I saw a large hand on the door and pushing it shut, he grabbed my shoulders and slammed me into the car, pinning me against it with his body.

"I asked you a question, I am going to repeat myself one more time, where do you think your going?" I could smell the alcohol layering his words with a heavy stench.

Before I could answer, he started roughly kissing me, hands roaming all over my body. I turned my head trying to get him to stop. Sure enough, lust in his eyes, he started kissing a long my jaw and down my neck.

"Stop!" Tears running down my cheeks. "I said stop!"

I reached into my bag pulling out my pepperspray and pressed the button, spraying it into his eyes. He let go almost immediately, rubbing at his eyes. I opened the car door quickly and got in and locked the doors. Oscar was banging on the window, his eyes were closed.

I turned the key and quickly drove home. On the way, since I was a few hours away and it was about 3 in the morning I called the hospital desk asking if she could redirect me to Masons room. I noticed when I was being directed, I noticed I was crying.

"Hello?" His voice sounded raspy and in pain, although I never noticed.

"Mason?" I cried out, "How am I going to get through this?"
