"You deserve better than a broken soldier." Aspen whispers, his once bright emerald green eyes meeting mine.

"I don't want better," I tell him, lacing my fingers in with his.

He sighs and drops his head against my shoulder. You deserve better than a broken soldier. Maybe he was right. Maybe I did deserve better than a broken soldier. Maybe I did deserve someone who wasn't broken. But I didn't want whoever that better person was, I just wanted Aspen.

"You deserve better." He whispers against my skin.

"I don't want better," I repeat. "I want you Aspen."

"You don't want me." He tells me.

I close my eyes, taking a shaky breath, "Yes I do."

Aspen looks up at me, his green eyes meeting mine again. I could see some anger in those once bright eyes. I could see anger and pain and guilt.

"You don't want me." He says sternly. "I'm broken and I can't....I can't control my anger. Not to mention the fact that I drink."

"I love you, flaws and all." I whisper.

"Lucy-"

I take his face in my hands, pressing my lips against his. He hums softly and presses me up against the wall, gripping my hips. I moan as he slips his hands under my shirt, his hands touching my skin.

"I want you." I breathe. "I want you so bad Aspen."

My boyfriend presses a kiss against my neck. I grip his uniform, biting my lip to stop myself from moaning gain. He slowly drags his lips up my neck, so painfully slow.

"Aspen....Aspen please." I beg him, pulling him closer to me.

"You know we can't." He murmurs.

I nodded my head weakly. We couldn't but that didn't stop me from wanting to. I knew that didn't stop him from wanting to. I wrap my arms up around his neck, pressing my forehead against his.

"I love you." I say softly.

"I love you too Luce."
