Four strangers from different walks of life meet on a cruise and spend an unforgettable week together. All of them on their own self-discovering journeys, and onboard for different reasons.
Texan heiress and ballet prodigy, Brooklyn Brankovich, lon...
Day four of the cruise. We docked in Bermuda where we'd spend three days and then head back to Florida where we got on. This meant time was running up, we didn't have long to do what we came to do. It wouldn't matter if I had ten more years, I still wouldn't be ready.
During breakfast, I noticed Gael was in his head.
"Alright," I gave in, "who is she?"
He came back to reality and laughed. "Who is who," Gael played dumb.
I held off on biting in the waffle long enough to talk to him. "This girl you're thinking about, and don't deny it because we both know how you get," I said.
Gael sat back in his chair and shook his head. He changed the subject and said, "How was your night last night? That vodka didn't drink itself."
"Dick. We just talked, for real," I shrugged.
G asked, "What about the girls from the other night?"
Their names escaped me. I snapped my fingers trying to remember. "Uh... Sarah, Mikayla, and-"
"VANESSA," Gael exclaimed when he remembered the last girl's name - the one neither of us wanted. She was their third-wheel but wouldn't get the hint to leave when Gael and I came around.
"Ah, Vanessa," I remembered as we threw our trash away and headed away from the dining area.

"There you guys are!" a sudden girl's voice came from behind our backs.
"Hey," G and I acted excited. They caught up and walked with us.
"You boys joining us at the beach," asked Sarah - the ginger.
"Yeah, we're dying to get off this ship," Vanessa spoke up, "Mikayla's been sea sick."
Mikayla, the lightskin girl with long braids, sucked her teeth at her ditsy friend for telling her business. Gael laughed at her while I listened to Sarah.
"I'd really appreciate it if you came," she said to me.
"Eh," I debated on it, "What's in it for me?"
Vanessa must've overheard me say that and to answer, she jumped in front of the group and bent over in front of me to twerk.
"Three hot girls in a bikiniiiiii," she trilled with this huge smile across her face.
"Excuse her, she's extra," Sarah apologized for her attention-seeking friend. I just laughed it off.
"We all are," Vanessa corrected her friend. She latched onto my other arm and squeezed. "So you'll come?" Asked Vanessa.
I looked over at Gael to decide.
"Yeah," he agreed, pounding my fist.
The girls all happily cheered and asked us to wait for them while they got ready for the day.
