You just being noisy, or are you writing an essay or something?”
“Definitely an essay,” Lucy grinned, watching the unmistakable cheesy grin come across Laura’s witchy green cheeks.
This was her third night at Wicked. She was actually enjoying it. The acting was getting better. Laura was getting better. And Cameron...definitely was getting better.
Laura had to admit she was surprised Lucy had been sitting out there the last three nights. They’d hung out as a group at Carrollton, the two of them and Louisa. She’d lost Louisa, obviously and now she was left with Lucy.
“That dirty look on your face says it all, stud. Did ya?” She brought her fingers up to her mouth, flicking her tongue between them
“Luc!” Laura pushed her in the arm. “Do you have to be so crude?” She saw the eyebrow rise.
“Look, Jordan, seriously, you are like having sex with a dammn smoking hot blonde witch girl who can sing! Let me be jealous, alright!”
Laura observed the slender model sitting beside her. Her eyebrow raised in question.
“Of her or me?” Lucy glimpsed over her shoulder. This is why she liked Laura. She had head smarts. She pursed her lips, taking a look around them.
“It wouldn’t have worked anyways.”
Laura caught her eyes. Lucy squinted back at her.
“You’ve got this like pale Latino, Rock chick, girl next door thing going on. So not into that.”
Laura laughed to herself as Lucy’s cheeks crimsoned slightly.
“Luc..” She teased. “As much as I really really like you..” She waited for her to look at her, then leaned in, flicking her eye to her lips. Lucy saw her lip twitch.
“We are not having a threesome, so you can touch my girlfriend!”
“Oh, come on, please!” Lucy turned around, putting her hands together. “Laur! Damn! That would be so hot! Me, you., not you but Cameron.”
Laura saw her watching images in her head.
“No. N.O. and stop that! That’s my girlfriend your picturing in your dirty little mind! She’s off-limits! Period!”
Lucy nodded with a reassuring smile.
“Periods, yeah, let me know how that goes when you get in sync.” She smirked. “I hear it’s sensitive as fuck.”
Laura rolled her eyes. “Can you leave?”
Lucy grinned back at her. “Sure, greeny witch of the west.” She stood up, straightening herself out.
“You know long distance doesn’t always work. If you need me to check in on her?” She brought her eyes back up, seeing the worried look on her friend’s face.
“Yeah, thanks.” Laura sighed. “There’s gotta be a way, Luc. I can’t lose her. I just gotta work out how to fix this. Get mum of my case.”
“Well...” Lucy put her hands in her pockets, looking down at her. “When your dad gets here tomorrow I’m sure between him and Jo, Cameron, and that hot blonde teacher of yours, you’ll work something out.”
Laura looked up at her. She knew the girl did care.
“You know it’s still not happening.”
“Damn.” Lucy grinned. Her hand landed on her chest as she stepped back. “And I used to share my lunch with you.”
“Bye, Lucy!” Laura laughed.
“Laters chicky.” The girl winked, suddenly noticing Cameron walking past her.
“Hi, Lucy.” Glinda smiled as she went past.
Lucy grinned. “Miss Damn fine Goodness.” She winked, giving her a quick once over.
Cameron looked back as she reached Laura, still sitting at the table.
“She’s been here like every night.”
“Ah-ha.” Laura slipped her hands into hers as she came between her legs. The personal boundary between them is no longer there.
“She wants a threesome with you.” Cameron looked down at her feeling her fingers squeeze between hers.
“With us?”
“Oh, she couldn’t care if I was there.” Laura’s cheeks automatically form her cheesy, love-struck grin. Cameron laughed to herself. Even though she was green, those eyes and that smile were unmistakable.
She cupped her face. “She can keep dreaming.” She grinned, pressing into her. “I’m taken.”
“Oh, are you?” Laura laughed, wrapping her hands around Cameron’s Glinda costume. The blonde wig started to tickle her face. Cameron held her face, tilting Laura’s lips up towards hers.
“Aha.” She teased, pushing her back. “A hot green witch with a broomstick.”
Laura cracked up, feeling herself falling back onto the table. “You just want me for my broomstick, Glinda.” She fell back, taking the blonde witch with her. Cameron laughed as her feet came up off the ground, falling onto Elphaba.
“It’s not how big it is; it’s how you use it, Elphie.” Looking down at her, she put her knees on the table between Laura’s legs. Laura raised her eyebrow.
“It’s magic.” She looked up into the brown eyes, smiling down at her.
Cameron bit her lip, leaning closer. “You’re magic.”
“You’re magic.” Laura winked, reaching up to kiss her.
“Um-hmm.”
“Oh!” Cameron blushed, quickly climbing off Laura and seeing Blair standing there, hands on her hips. “Sorry, Miss.” Cameron straightened herself out.
Laura sat up. “Sorry, miss.” She laughed, pushing her witch’s dress back down.
Blair shook her head.
Cameron could see she wasn’t happy. Blair’s shoulders dropped. Laura got up, seeing her.
“Look, Blair.”
Blair put her hand up, stopping her.
“You two need to understand. I am your teacher, and you are on school grounds! Don’t put me in the position where I have to lie for you like I had to today.”
Cameron and Laura looked at each other. How did she know?
“How did you?”
“Jo came home and caught you two earlier.”
“Oh.” Laura blushed. Blair looked between them.
“Look, guys, I am really happy for you, but just, remember where you are, and Jesus, we already had to cut the kiss because your mother was anal about it.” She waved her hand. “Save this kind of stuff for outside of school, please.”
Cameron could feel the weight on her teachers’ shoulders. “We promise, right?” She glared over at Laura, pursing her lips.
“Yeah, yeah, we’ll tone it down, Miss.”
“Good.” Blair nodded. She scratched her head. “I have to meet your dad tomorrow.” She indicated to Laura as the girl prepared to return to the stage. “Is he as tight as your mother is?”
Laura turned around, seeing the worried look on her face. Cameron had the same look.
“Guys, dad is a gem! You’ll love him!” She put her hand on the Blondes’ shoulder. “Trust me; he’ll love you, both of you. You have nothing to worry about!”
