He still got it

Quincy walks in and takes a seat.

" So what's bothering you?" He asks me.

" One of yo bitches was playin on my phone." I say.

" What are you talkin about?" He askes confused.

" Some girl called me talkin bout ' We both know Lay isn't Quincy's daughter so I don't know why you lyin' so then I had to cuss her out cause ain't no bitch bout to talk about my daughter any typa way." I rant.

" Damn that's my bad. When I had finally got my mind right and started taking care of Lay I got happy and posted about her. I didn't think anyone would start sum shit." 

" Its cool, honestly it's not your fault bitches just petty as fuck and wanna start shit for nun." I respond back.

" Ya know how bout this, you go out to hang out with yo friends or sum and I'll watch Lay for the night. Just so you can relieve some stress. " He suggests.

I sit there and think about it.

I've been in mom mode for the past 5 years no time to myself, no nothing. Plus leaving Lay with her dad for some quality time would be good for the both of them. 

" Yea.. I mean I guess I could. But are you sure you would be cool with Lay for the night? You've only ever took care of her for a few hours at a time but the whole night thats a lot." I explain to him.

" Yes we'll be fine, it's only a few hours more and I know everything bout her that I needa know" He says back.

I look at Quincy in his eyes. He gets up and walks over to me, he stands right in between my legs.

Damn he's still got it. 

He leans down towards me and -

" Okay I'm back!" Lay says making me stand up.

" Come here baby." I say to her.

Quincy eyes me as I pick Lay up.

" Mommy needs some time to be an adult. You know how we always and go hang out, me and some of my friends are gonna go do that while you stay with your daddy. Is that cool with you?" I ask her.

" YAYYYYY I've been waiting for this." She says and runs to her room to pack.
