This is from a while back, but I'll put it here anyway.

                              Mr. Scott Morrison,
I am Moon Dragonrider. I am a student at Pyrrhia High, on the Mountains. I'm talking about the recent statement you made saying that Australians should not be allowed to protest, especially young school kids.
How dare you. Us kids and other citizens are having eco-anxiety and you take away the only thing that we feel like we can do? I shouldn't be writing this letter. I should be writing to you about the lovely ways Australia is an amazing country, which it is, but instead, I am forced to write a letter to you about climate change. You deny climate change, but it IS real, and you know it! Right now, over 7,000 fires are burning across Australia, spurred on by climate change, and you choose to ignore that? You choose to ignore that hundreds of homes are being destroyed? You choose to ignore that the people of Australia are outraged? You choose to deny us our human rights? You choose to deny us the right to have speech? You choose to deny us the right of protesting? You choose to violate human rights? That is not acceptable!
I am 13, living my life, and maybe, because of YOU, maybe I won't have a future. I have all these dreams that I want to fulfill. I want to write a bestselling novel. I want to do a degree in astrophysics. I want to become a Westfeild Matilda. I have all these dreams, and you, you choose to deny them by not letting us spread the word? How dare you. How dare you! I am enraged, and infuriated by your dastardly actions.
You have denied climate change for a long time now. Do you want to see where this has gotten you? I'll just tell you.
In the past 4 years, the global surface temperature has risen, being the hottest on record. This is also continuing a long-term warming trend, making more floods and droughts. You choose to say, "Oh, don't worry about that, we'll live", when farmers are suffering because of this?
Climate change is making severe weather, both globally and in Aus. Extreme weather is a trend since the 1980's, and you choose to say, "It's fine, just get out of there before whatever it is hits!"when houses, people and families are being torn apart? It's not the best way to gain support.
The impacts of extreme weather in 2018 has been damaging and costly, but if climate change continues, well, then the crazy weather will continue. This makes the expenses of repairing whatever has it even MORE costly. You choose to say, "Oh, the government has enough money. We'll be fine." when so many people are struggling to make ends meet? Plus, I don't think we'll be able to fit your ample travel bill into this.
We need an effective climate change policy. Since what you are doing isn't helping, who knows when this will come into play. We can only hope you'll reconsider climate change. You won't though.
See? Prime Minister, the world is melting and you ignore THAT. You ignore EVERYTHING. You are so ignorant, and you choose to be.
I speak from my heart. I'm not trying to be a hero, and I haven't gone in the climate strikes, but I am passionate about doing everything I can to help climate change end, forever. At least the young people of Australia care about climate change. At least the young people care about the future generations. Think about it. You have two daughters. Do you really want them to grow up in a world with horrible things happening around us all the time? Do you really want your grandkids to see you as the one who didn't help climate change stop? Do you really want the rest of Australia to see you, the 30th Prime Minister of Australia, as the one who let climate change run wild?
As my letter closes to an end, I want to say that I will do anything to make you believe in climate change. As an 11 year old, I want you to think about your daughters, and what kind of world they'll live in. Do you want it to be a corrupt, melting one? Or do you want it to be one where the sun shines and there is no more climate change? I think I know, but I'll leave it up to you.
You have stolen our Australia, soothing us deeply with your sedative, untrue words. But are you really helping the Earth? Are you really helping Australia?
                              From,
                              Moon Dragonrider
