So I'm not going to be updating these periodically anymore. I will update, but not once a week. -Brett💚

Emily smiled. The place was packed. Norman, Mingus, Lauren, Steven, Danai, Andrew, Chandler, Michael, Christian, Josh, and Alanna were all in front. Emily released the curtain and returned to the back. She looked at Marcus.

"You ready?" she asked.

"Yep," he nodded, "What are we starting with? I know we're ending with Dad Says."

"Expired Lover," Emily replied, "and then Julie, Masterpiece, Doctor, Be Good, and Dad Says."

"Ok," Marcus said, grabbing a pair of drumsticks. Emily smiled and handed him a couple of tissues. She'd put one in her pocket, but she figured better to be safe than sorry. Plus Marcus would look really good and probably get "discovered". Emily took a drink of water and then grabbed a cold, unopened bottle from the small cooler she had brought and smiled.

"Ok," she said, "You go do your thing." Marcus went onstage and sat down at the drums. He started a drumroll and pulled the mic close.

"Ladies and Gentlemen, boys and girls," Marcus began, "Coming all the way out of the sticks of Georgia to play here tonight, Miss Emily Kinney!" The crowd roared and cheered and Emily walked out on stage with her water bottle. She sat down atop the stool at center stage. She adjusted the mic in front of her and switched it on.

"Good evening, Atlanta!" Emily said. Everyone cheered. There were so many of them. Her cast-mates were lucky to have gotten tickets and made it here to get front row. The bartenders were working as fast as they could. "Are y'all having a good night tonight?" More cheering.

"Well, so am I," Emily smiled, "Um, so I know you all want to forget the people who've hurt us, that have tossed us aside like we were old food. Expired." She strummed a couple of chords and then looked back at Marcus.

"We don't need the guitar or drums, do we?" She said.

"A keyboard, maybe," Marcus replied.

"I think we can make do," said Emily. She began to strum a soft tone, and Marcus began to use the bass drum and hi-hat.

"I don't want you anymore
Summer's gone, and now I'm sure
The box behind my bed I've saved
I took out with the trash today

Oh, the truth is: I've met someone new
The truth is: you probably have, too
The truth is: I can't stand your face
When I think of all the love we made

Oh, we took a walk- we took a walk out by the Hudson River,
The human breaks, you need to please, and make my shoulders shiver.

You asked me, "Baby girl, how long until my heart recovers?"

I'm sure the answer's "Never."

You're a top-act shelf, out-of-date, too-late, expired lover

No, I'm not the only girl to save
Items past their expiration date

I sucked you up, 'til my stomach churned
My throat closed, my eyes would burn
Someone told me that love was suppose to hurt
But, now I've learned.

And, I don't want this anymore
Like hand-me-downs, waitin' by my door.
I kept you around, but I don't know what for.
So, I took a walk all by myself from river side to south street.

It's 2 A.M.; I've let you in, and whenever your here, I can't sleep.
Is there anyway to save you and me?
Baby, now that I've discovered, enjoy takin' all my covers, this is your last sleep over.
