END OF TERM WAS COMING QUICKLY, but a Hogsmeade visit was in store for the students of Hogwarts before then. Rosie, walking with her now ever-present group of friends, walked slowly down a cobbled path leading to the village. The five children turned the corner to step into the Three Broomsticks when they bumped into Harry. Potter. Harry Potter.

"Oh I'm so sorry, I- Rosie?" her name was said with a tone of disgust.

Inwardly, Rosie was deeply hurt and wanted more than anything to run away. Instead, She fixed her cold, steely gaze onto Harry. In her peripheral vision, she could see Ron and Hermione making their way to the exit as well. "Yes?"

"I'd like to get through the door please, if your highness does not mind." Harry snarked.

"You don't get to- " Blaise started to defend Rosie before she held a hand up, indicating that she wanted to fight this battle on her own.

"I'd like to know why you hate me, Mr. All-Mighty Dark Lord slayer."

"Why, because I just love people who basically want to kill me." Harry muttered sarcastically.

"Whoever said I wanted to kill you?" Rosie whispered.

"I don't need anyone to tell me anything in order to figure out that someone allied with Voldemort wants to kill me. Look at you, calling him the Dark Lord like a true Death Eater. Whatever. Go worship him, or something. I don't care anymore." Harry shoved his way out of the shop, Hermione and Ron right on his heels, throwing dark looks at Rosie and her friends.

Before he was out of sight, Rosie shouted. "Maybe, just maybe, you don't know everything, Potter!"

--

"Ah, Rosie. Come in, come in." Rosie walked into Dumbledore's circular office. "What do you have for me today?" It was uncharacteristic for Dumbledore to get straight to the topic, meaning he probably knew something was wrong, or he was busy. So, instead of Rosie's customary greeting to Fawkes, she made her way over to Dumbledore's desk.

Sitting down, Rosie asked, "Arthur, tonight, is guarding the prophecy, correct?" Albus nodded. "Well, Harry will have a vision. He will see Arthur being attacked by Voldemort's snake, Nagini, and he will see himself as Nagini. 'Course, he isn't Nagini, but when he tells you, I'm sure he'll be hell bent on saying that he was the one who had injured Mr. Weasley, and he'll most likely think that he is going dark.

"I suppose he will be shaken, but it is very important that he starts occlumency lessons with Severus before Voldy finds out about their connection and uses it against him. Voldy will eventually use it against him, but I've got a plan for that when the time comes. For now, know that the vision is true, so once Harry comes and alerts you, be ready to alert St. Mungos and transport Arthur immediately."

"Ah, I see. Why, Rosie, are you not asking me to send someone else or prevent the attack completely? Why risk Arthur?"

"I've thought about this a lot, Albus. Arthur needs to be damaged enough for him to go to St. Mungos, where Harry will meet Neville. That's when Neville's confidence will boost up a bit, and that's very necessary to our success in this war. Besides. Mr. Weasley makes it out fine. Sometimes, we need to make sacrifices."

--

December 18th went as expected. Arthur was attacked, Harry had his vision, McGonagall was alerted, Dumbledore was alerted, and Arthur was saved. The Weasleys, Golden Trio, and Rosie were permitted to visit him in St. Mungos the next day, but Rosie declined, knowing she wouldn't be welcome. Instead, she went straight to Number twelve, Grimmauld Place for a meeting with the Order of the Phoenix.
