"COME IN, ROSIE." Rosie walked into the Defence Against the Dark Arts classroom at 8 o'clock sharp. "Congratulations on your sorting."
Rosie was perplexed. Didn't Remus Lupin hate Slytherins? Was he... happy? For her? "Er, thank you. I'm not sure if I'm happy with my placement, but I can't change it, can I?"
Remus chuckled. "No, you cannot." After a pause, he started. "So, you know about..."
"Your lycanthropy? Yes. I do."
"How?" he inquired.
"How skilled are you at occlumency?" Remus looked confused for a second and then answered,
"Good enough to keep a secret from intruders, I suppose."
"Good, good." Rosie nodded, trying to think of the best way to tell Remus of her situation. "I am... a deity, of sorts. My mother is Fate and my father is known as Time." Seeing Remus' gobsmacked look, Rosie added, "they weren't supposed to have children. It goes against all of the laws up there." she gestured above her head. "So I had to leave once I turned 13. Goodbye to my parents, aunts, uncles... I know about your ailment because, being the child of Time and Fate, I have the ability to see the futures of all mortal beings on Earth. I was particularly invested in Harry's life as a child, so when I arrived and saw him, I vowed to try and save everyone he loves. Which, by the way, includes you."
"Save, me? Save me from what?"
"That should be left undisclosed. But I could save you from your lycanthropy. Switch up your fate a little bit. Even that will change everything."
Remus looked so hopeful. "You can stop me from being a werewolf?"
"Well technically, you would still be a werewolf, but you wouldn't transform every month, if you know what I mean."
"So I won't transform but I'd keep my eyesight, hearing, height, strength, and liking for raw meat?"
"Precisely. You would only get the good parts of your condition. Also, you wouldn't be allergic to your favorite treat anymore." She gestured to the chocolate. "I'm surprised your canine self didn't die from large amounts of chocolate already."
Remus laughed at that comment, but soon reverted back to his serious self. "So, how do you stop my transformations?"
"Don't worry, I already have." Happy with her work, Rosie bid Remus a good night for tonight was a night in many years in which he didn't go through a painful transformation at the sight of a full moon.

As Rosie turned to leave, she saw the headmaster standing in the doorway.
"I was wondering if my assumptions of your aura were correct. It is very fascinating how you have come to help us in the mortal world. Care for a walk, Miss Feudestin?"
"O- of course, Headmaster."
"Brilliant. Enjoy your night, Remus."
For a while, Rosie and Dumbledore walked in silence, up to the astronomy tower. Knowing that this was the place where Dumbledore would take his last breaths in a couple years, Rosie took a deep breath. "You will die here in a few years time. I wish I could stop it, but if you lived, there is too much of a chance that Harry won't survive and kill Voldemort."
Dumbledore smiled. "Yes, I know Miss Feudestin. I trust, however, that you will save any lives that need not be taken?"
This time Rosie smiled. "Yes. Of course." During their conversation, the duo had sat down on the cold floor of the tower. Rosie looked down to pick at the quilt Dumbledore had lain out for them to sit on. "Does Harry hate me now? I wasn't supposed to be in Slytherin. I was supposed to be in Gryffindor to earn his trust! Now he probably thinks I'm evil."
