DEITIES ARE NOT SUPPOSED to have children. Life and Death didn't have children (Death would have a fit if he did anyway,) Light and Dark didn't, Magic, well, Magic was just Magic, she didn't really do children. But Time and Fate, always the rebellious ones... they had a child. And named her Aurora Rosaline Chloé Tempselle Feudestin. Quite a mouthful, really, so they called her Rosie for short. Rosie grew up in heaven, using her father's gift of timelessness (or is it timefullness?) to watch mortals' futures, learning the pure art of magic from Magic herself, and listening to her favorite deity, Death, or Mortie as she likes to call him, complain about needing a master to make him do something interesting. (Now Rosie full well knew who his master was going to be in the future, but who was she to reveal such a fateful secret?) Still, growing up, Rosie knew she wasn't like the other deities. When she was old enough, she was told how her Fate had been changed by her mother in order for her to be born, and how she really wasn't supposed to be here, so after a while, she would have to go into the mortal world without them, or the balance of the universe would not be in order. Something along the lines of that, at least. Right now, as 13 year old Rosie descended from the gates of heaven to go to a funny school named Hogwarts (maybe it was Pigfarts? She's seen some wizards and witches go to that school as well, but Rosie was almost certain she was on the wrong planet if that was the case.) in the mortal year of 1993, however, she wished she had paid more attention instead of watching the future life of a handsome green-eyed, raven haired boy.

Note that this used to be in the story description but it looked far too long, so I took it out and made a new chapter and called it the prologue
I don't own anything except Rosie, who is an oc. All else is Harry Potter and belongs to JK Rowling.
