Power Couple

It was a vibe last night with our couple going into the Housemate Salone house to meet and mingle with the housemates, connect with them, share their good times as well as struggles during their time in the Big Brother Naija season 5, it was a fun experience for our couple.
Tonight however is a bit on the serious side with the live eviction show that Kidd and Erica attended as VIP guests, Later that night a meet and greet for the "KiddRica" fanbase was held, Kidd and Erica took photos, received gifts and cake too, from adoring fans that support them as a couple.

A night they'll never forget, but now Our couple are tired and are back at their suite Erica taking off her make up in the bathroom and KiddWaya in bed already waiting for Erica so they can call it a night, laughter can be heard in their room as the two talk about their activities in Sierra Leone so far

Erica: "the song wouldn't stop"
Kidd: "who asked you stand?"
Erica: "it's called my anthem I must show respect, just did not expect it to be on repeat hahaha"

Kidd: "are you sure you're okay babe?"
Erica: "yeah I'm fine, thanks baby... and I'm sorry"
Kidd: "for what?"
Erica: "for exploding on you last night"
Kidd: "No, don't... I'm the one who is sorry, I shouldn't have cut you off like that"
Erica: "I know why you did, you didn't want them asking about my family because you know I don't like talking about it much"
Kidd: "yeah, some of their questions were intense"
Erica: "mhmm, but you, are you okay... you were a bit off tonight"
Kidd: "I'll be fine, it's just sometimes it's a bit too much you know"

Kidd: "why did you cry on our way back from the Meet and Greet?"
Erica: "because you can't, I'll shed all the tears you want to but can't"
Kidd: "what makes you think I want to cry?"
Erica: "I feel it, I saw the tweets, you were trying to act like everything is okay when we were at the beach earlier today, but felt something was off, so I checked"
Kidd: "I was upset because you were upset with me last night after the show and wouldn't talk to me that's all"
Erica: "Kidd when will you feel safe enough to be vulnerable with me, it's okay not to be okay when total strangers feel they have a say in your life, it's okay to feel wronged it doesn't make you weak"
Kidd: "I know that but it doesn't change anything does it?, it won't change anything, because it's not going to stop anytime soon, so why dwell on it, just don't let it bother you and move on,"
Erica: "but it does bother you, you can't keep bottling things up Kidd it's not healthy, tell me what's making you upset like the real reason"
Kidd: "what do you mean the real reason?, what do you also think I'm not happy for you? Or that I'm jealous of how Elites are everywhere making everything about you? Do you also think it's getting to me that we came here as KiddRica and tonight was mostly about Elites?"
Erica: "does it?"
Kidd: "does it what?"
Erica: "bother you?"

The tension from Kidds silence was so thick a chainsaw wouldn't be able to cut through

Kidd: "I don't know , i know I'm happy for you because you deserve it, what I don't know is why I'm feeling so ..... forget it man, I don't wanna talk about this anymore"
Erica: "No, let's talk about it, or else you won't be happy our whole stay here"
Kidd: "I'll be fine, I'll just take a glass of Ciroc and I'll be good again, same ol playful Kidd"
Erica releases herself from his embrace
Erica: "but I won't be fine, because you're not fine, stop saying you're fine, it feels like you're pushing me away, why can't you just say how you truly feel?"
Kidd: "that's who I am Erica, you can't change that about me, so stop trying, I don't feel things like you do, I bury them"
Erica: "what!, I'm not trying to change you, I just..... you know what forget it, you want to bury things abi? I won't let you, I'm going to dig them out, you don't know me.... look, I hate it when you're upset because I feel like I can't do anything for you, if I take it out on Twitter you'll tell me not to, listen i will not tolerate anyone that talks shit about you not even my fans"
Kidd: "babe you can't explode on Twitter on your Elites because of me, how will that look, they're very protective and defensive of you besides I'm almost certain you can't win a battle against Elites... you love them too much, and they love you, that's doesn't mean they have to love me too I think we both have to understand that"
Erica starts to sob, she uses her hand to wipe away a tear that was threatening to fall
Erica: "so what can I do?, I can't fight for you, you wont let me, what can I do to stop you from feeling like this?"
She holds his hands kissing each knuckle
Kidd: "theres nothing you can do, because feeling like this comes with loving you and I can't stop that, nobody can, not you, your fans..."
Erica: "so I can't help you, I'm just to watch as you hurt?"
Kidd: "just love me babe, that's all I want from you, I don't need you fighting my battles for me, just keep loving me the way you do, and when you said you feel you don't do anything for me or can't give me anything it's not the truth, you give me everything back just by breathing,"

She continues to sob softly while holding his big hands in her small ones

Erica: "I....."
Kidd: "shhhhh what you can do for me now is to stop those actress tears, I told you you're very ugly when you cry"
Erica: "shuttup I'm not, you said I'm cute when I cry"
Kidd: "I lied, but that's how I know I'm in trouble I find you cute regardless, C'mere"
he stretches out his arms for her, she cuddles up to him like an infant, curling her body into a ball on his body her head on his chest. They stay like that, listening to each others beating heart, Erica gives his chest a soft kiss, Kidd returns the gesture by kissing the top of her head and continues stroking her hair.

These are the moments that matter, these small stolen moments together as the curtain falls,it's enough for them.....

Erica: "are you okay?"
Kidd: "I will be"
Erica: "I'm sorry babe"
Kidd: "I'm sorry too..." kisses her forehead
Erica: "Kidd?...."
Kidd: "mmm?"
Erica: "are you sleepy?"
Kidd: "what? Are you horny?"
Erica: "you're a goat"
he laughs out loud for the first time in a while today
Kidd: "what now?"
Erica: "I'm hungry"
Kidd: "me too"
Erica: " I think I saw indomie in one of the gifts from the meet and greet"
Kidd: "make we run am?"
Erica: "Run am"

They get up for a midnight meal, snicking into the kitchen of The Radisson Blu Hotel like two thieves in the night, it was exciting for the two criminals, after a quick bowl of noodles they head back to their room , our couple cuddle under the covers.

Erica: "Kidd?..."
Kidd: "what again?"
Erica: "am I really ugly when I cry?"
Kidd: "yes, so don't cry in front of people, just me"
Erica: "seriously???"
She's beginning to get irritated, Kidd chuckles and kisses her cheek
Kidd: "No, you're fucking cute, that's why I don't want you crying in front of anyone but me, they'll fall for you I already have enough competition please"
Erica: "what's got you worried, I belong to you, This Emotional woman that's Good at being bad is all yours"
Kidd: "fuck yeah"

Yes, these stolen moments are enough.....
