Xiaojun was searching for you the next morning, and found you outside. You were watching the sun rise into a pallet of beautiful colors.

"Good morning." He sounded.

"Morning."

He held his hand out to you to help you out of the chair. "Let's go pick some flowers."

"Flowers?" You questioned as you took his hand. "Why?"

"I want to tell you a story."

You followed him to the back yard, where a patch of flowers was bright and prominent. You started picking the dandelions out of the ground.

"You know, I was lucky enough to have a good home life. It was my fault that I got into crime and ended up doing what I did. I let the wrong kind of people dictate who I became." His back was to you as he picked white daisies. "I don't regret it though. I can't change what happened, the past is in the past, and I'm happy where I am right now."

You nodded. "Good. I'm glad you're in a good spot."

He turned around and looked you in the eyes. "I don't want you to regret things, Minli. You deserve to know that you're making the right choices in life. At least I think you are. Minsu deserves what you did to him last night, no question about it."

He went quite for a moment and one of the dandelions in your hand fell apart with the wind.

"I'm sorry that I pushed you so hard, I really am. I said some things that I shouldn't have in the midst of the chaos and I wish I could take it back." He tucked some hair behind your ear and placed three white daisies there. "I know these don't make up for it, but my mother always said that flowers are a symbol of appreciation. I hope you know that I truly appreciate you, and I never meant to hurt your feelings."
