I was woken up by a call from an unknown number and I answered it. "Keabetswe Moloi, hello?" I said in to the phone. "Hi ma'am its Stones, ma'am please come home, I need your help," Stones said. I groaned, "Stones, did Andile put you up to this?" I asked. "No! Ma'am Mr Mkhize hurt himself ma'am. I don't know where but there is shattered glass everywhere and alcohol and blood ma'am," Stones said sounding worried. "Okay, where is he now?" I asked. "He is in his room, I think he passed out ma'am," he said. "Uhm, Andile is a grown man, I'm sure he can take care of himself. Call a doctor or something," I said. "Ma'am, please. I beg you ma'am. This is the last favour I'll ask of you ma'am. Ngiyakucela." "Okay, I'm on my way," I said. "Thank you so much ma'am," Stones replied.
When I had finished getting ready, I left Sethu a note where I was going and made a mental note to text her later. There was a 4 bedroom house behind Andile's house and I knew it was where Stones and some of the security lived so I went there. The door was open and I could hear men laughing . When I went in, I couldn't find Stones just two guys playing cards. When they noticed me, they immediately stood up. "Hi ma'am I'm Sticks, can we help you?" the tallest one said. "Hi Sticks, nice to meet you. I was just looking for Stones," I said. "Oh! Stones is in the main house," Sticks said. "Okay thank you," I said and went to the main house where I found Stones in a fit.
When he saw me, he sighed with relief. "Good morning ma'am," he said. "Good morning Stones, is he still in his room?" I asked and he nodded. I went to his door and tried to open it but it was locked. I knocked a couple of times but he didn't reply or open. I then remembered he had told me about his spare keys that he kept in the guest room. I took out the key that he had given and went to the room. I searched the drawers until I found the right one that was labelled 'master bedroom'. I took the key and prayed it would work. I slipped the key inside and opened the door. I stepped inside with Stones. The room was dark and Andile was dressed in the same clothes he had on last night and was sprawled on the bed with a bottle of whiskey next to him. I shook him roughly but he didn't budge. "Well he's out cold," I said mostly to myself but Stones heard me anyways, then and idea struck me. "Stones, can you fill a bowl with water from the fridge and put a whole ice tray of ice of ice please?" I said smiling.
Stones hesitated but he left and came back with a bowl. He passed me the bowl and I smiled. I dipped my hand in the water and pulled it back quickly. The water was cold enough to freeze hell. I kneeled behind him on the bed and Stones sat in front of him facing him. I raised the bowl and tipped it slowly over his face. Ice and water fell down his side and I started laughing when Andile woke up with a jolt. "What the fuck Stones? Why would you do that?" he asked to a laughing Stones.
Then he realised someone else was laughing and was with him in bed."Kea?" he asked turning. I wanted to reply, but I was dying with laughter. After a few minutes Stones stood up went outside, closing the door behind him. I stopped laughing because I couldn't breathe and tears rolling down my face. "Woo! Lord! Revenge, is certainly sweet!" I said. "Really Keabetswe? You poured ice down my face because you wanted revenge? Why couldn't wake me up like normal people do?" he asked irritated and I started laughing again. "Hhayi you passed out, what was I supposed to do?" I asked in between giggling and he rolled his eyes.

My head throbbed as I walked to the kitchen. "Hey," I said leaning against the counter across from Kea. "Oh hi, drink this," Kea said offering me the most disgusting thing I have ever seen. "It will help with your headache and any nausea you might experience," she said when she saw me hesitate. "Keabetswe, ufuna ukung'bulala ngamaqhinga?" I asked her. "I don't really know what most of what you just said means but no I'm not trying to kill you. It's a hangover remedy," she replied. "Really because it looks like pure poison," I said and she laughed. "No! It will help trust me!" she assured me. "Okay, if I die Keabetswe, I will haunt until the day you die," I said. "In that case, I don't think you should drink it anymore," she said stifling laughter and I rolled my eyes.I sniffed the damn thing and I regretted it immediately. I scrunched up my nose in disgust, "It smells gross Keabetswe," I said. "Okay, hold your nose while you drink it, you won't smell or taste it," she suggested. I held my nose and drowned the thing down in one go. "You have a little something here," Kea said. "Where? Here?" I said licking my lips. "No, here," Kea said leaning over and brushing her thumb over my upper lip, her thumb trailed down my lips but then she immediately pulled it back. "Uhm, you can dish up for yourself," she said. "Aren't you eating?" I asked. "No, I already ate, I'm gonna go pack up the rest of my things, you enjoy though," she said hurriedly and left me alone.
I ate alone and went to check on Kea but I couldn't find her anywhere. I tried calling her but she wouldn't answer so I called Stones. "Boss," he replied. "Where is she?" I asked her. "By the pool," he said and I hung up. I went to the pool and there she was, looking like a model in a white one piece and and a lace cover up laying on a deck chair. I moved closer and stood over her. She was wearing sunglasses and I thought she was sleeping but then she put her glasses over her head and said, "You are blocking my light."
I sat next to her, "We need to talk, about us," I said. "There is no us," she said coldly and it sent daggers right through my heart. "I said I'm sorry, didn't I?" I said angrily. She tried to stand up but I pinned her wrists and held her down. I don't know how or when but in a flash she was on top of me and I was under her. "I did gymnastics and karate in my old days, I haven't done it in a while, but obviously I'm still a pro," she said. "Andile Mkhize, I don't give a fuck if the previous woman you have dated put up with your bullshit but me, Keabetswe Moloi will never and I mean never be disrespected and spoken in the way you just spoke to me. I don't know who you think you are but wagafa if you think oka bua lena ka tsela eo. If you have a problem with the way I do things you sit down and talk me through it or walk out, not insult me the way you did. You do not accuse me of bullshit without facts. If you want to have a relationship with me you behave like an adult and don't insult me like you did, do you understand Andile Mkhize?" she said. "Yes," I replied. "Good," she said staring down at me.
"I love you Keabetswe Moloi," I said then she leaned closer and our lips touched. She brushed her tongue across my lower lip and I instantly parted my lips. Her tongue slowly went in my mouth and found mine. She sucked on my tongue and I moaned, we kissed for few minutes and we finally pulled apart gasping for air. She felt growing erection and tried to jump off but I held her by the waist, "One more kiss and I'll let you go," I proposed. She leaned in and gave me a peck on the lips before pulling away. "You still owe me a proper kiss," I said and put her down.
"Oh now I remember why I was looking for you. We were invited to dinner with some of my business partners and their wives, it's at 7 o'clock on the dot," I said standing up. "Their wives? Wouldn't that be awkward?" she toying with her swim cover. "Keabetswe Moloi, I love you and that's more than enough futhi nje ngizokushada," I said and she smiled. It was my second time telling her I loved her and she still didn't reply.
I was walking away when she shouted out my name, "Yes?" I said turning around to face her. "I love you Andile Mkhize, I wasn't sure of it at first or maybe I was but just guarding my heart, but I love you and I truly understand why whenever I'm around I feel like I'm floating on air, except when you piss me off, then I just want to strangle the last atom of oxygen from you but when I kissed you I-I just knew," she said and she smiled and I immediately felt like I was floating. I wanted to reply but I was speechless and I nodded and smiled before walking away.
