I woke up at 2:00 pm and I poured myself a glass of water. I scrolled through my Instagram for a few minutes, well actually it was supposed to be a few minutes but then a few minutes turned in to and hour. I threw my phone on the couch, I had to do some laundry. I took of my towel and changed in to an oversized Puma hoodie before grabbing my dirty clothes. I went in to my laundry room and put all my white things inside the washing machine, I then started turning the remaining clothes inside out and checking the pockets. The card fell out of my jean and held it in my hands. I contemplated calling Mr A.Mkhize and I searched for my phone before I could change my mind. I didn't want to seem to eager so I called his office. "Mkhize Industries, Alicia speaking," a lady replied. I cleared my throat, "Hi, um , I'm Kea Moloi and I was wondering if Mr Mkhize was in?" I said biting my lip. "Mr Mkhize? Sorry ma'am can you please be more specific to whom you are referring to." Alicia said. "Mr A. Mkhize, please." I said hoping she'd understand who I was referring to. "Uhm, who should I say is calling?" she asked. "Miss Keabetswe Moloi, please." I said slowly. "Mmm, I'll see if I can get him to talk to you, please hold, I heard a click and then silence. "Miss Moloi, hi," his voice said after a good 5 minutes. "Uhm hi, how are you," I asked. "I'd be better if I knew who was calling me and why," he said almost impatiently. "I'm Kea, we met in Kimberly at Mugg & Bean," I said, scratch that, I chirped. "Oh! Hi, how are you," he asked excitedly. "I'm well actually, I wanted to call because you dropped your card and I think maybe I should return it?" I started. "Oh it's ok, it's just a piece of paper anyways," he said bursting my bubble. "Oh, okay um thanks for your time, bye!" I said disappointed. "Oh Keabetswe wait! How about we meet up for dinner and you can tell me how I dropped my card," he suggested. I smiled silently pumped my fist in the air and danced around the room. "Of course Mr Mkhize," I said. How about today, lets say 8:00pm?" he suggested. "Uhm yes of course. Where?" I asked already planning out my outfit. "Mmm, Spur in Gateway Mall, I'm kind of tired of coffee," he said. I laughed his comment, this guy though. "Oh and by the way, my name is Andile," he said before he hung up.
