(Katniss POV)
I open the door to see Peeta standing there with a smile on his face.
"Hey." He stuffs his hands in his pockets.
"Hey, What's up?"
"I was wondering if you'd like to meet the rest of my friends?"
"I would love that." He smiles at me.
"Let me just go grab my stuff, okay?" He nods his head.
We head off to wherever he's taking me. I'm quite nervous to be meeting the rest of his friends, but it'll make my dad and myself happy.
"Where are we going?" He looks up from his phone and at me.
"We're going to meet them at the mall." I nod and he looks back at his phone.
Once we reach the mall, we walk in and soon find his friends. It's not a big group of people but it's more than I've had.
"Hey." They all look up at us, well, mostly at me.
"Who's this?" A bronze hairs boy asks. Johanna rolls her eyes.
"He told you she was coming you idiot." The bronze haired guy starts laughing.
"Sorry I didn't hear, stupid." Johanna kicks his foot.
"This is Katniss." I get a series of hi's and Hey's from everyone.
"Is she your girlfriend?" Once again the bronze guy asks.
"Just shut up, Finnick," Johanna says to him and he grins at us.
"Hey, you never know." I blush beet red at the conversation.
"That idiot, is Finnick." He waves at me, I give him a small smile in return.
"You, of course, know Johanna." She doesn't look up from her phone.
"Then there's Clove, Foxface, and now you." Peeta takes a seat next to Finnick.
"Here, Katniss come sit over here." I go and take a seat next to Clove.
"Anyone know where Gale is?" Gale? My brother's name is Gale.
"He said he had to do something, but then he'd be over." Peeta informs Clove.
"So, where are you from?" Foxface asks.
"Uh, well, originally I'm from Canada, but my dad's job requires him to move all around the world." Johanna abruptly gets up.
"I've gotta go." With that she walks away.
"What's up with her today?" Finnick asks.
"When isn't something up with her?" Peeta asks, which gets a laugh from the group.
"Aren't you the girl who-" Peeta slaps Finnick upside the head before he can finish.
"Shut up." Finnick hits him back.
"Why?" Peeta hits him back.
"Because I said so." Then, before Finnick can hit Peeta, someone grabs their two arms.
"Both of you idiots stop." I look up at the guy who looks just like my older brother.
"Oh, Katniss, this is Gale." I stand up.
"Gale?" He looks me straight in the eyes.
"Katniss."
